Facebook Question: How was Jesus (sic) Crucified?
My Answer:
Who is "Jesus"? There was never any "Jesus"! That "name" came from the corruption of the LXX that wrongly transliterated "Joshueh" as "Ieosus" who is the Greek "Primal Sun God."
First, He was not crucified! He was executed by being nailed to the Stake of Condemnation. The so-called "crucifixion on a cross" is from the corrupt sophistry of Catholic bishops (but not limited to). And the corrupt teachings of Catholicism, from "scholars" who then, and even in our day CAN'T READ THEIR OWN BIBLES! Even though it is generally acknowledged that Nisan 14th (Thursday) was Passover that year, they fail to realize Passover was a High-Day (special Sabbath). Therefore, for Yehushueh to have to be in the tomb before dusk when the High-day commenced, He was executed on 13th Nisan, Wednesday. I follows then, that the so-called "Lord's Supper" was Wednesday evening (Hebrew days were dusk to dusk, not the Roman's midnight to midnight).
Second, their failure to comprehend "The Peshakh week". The "traditional week" was seven days. But, and that is a big But, very few know that week was EIGHT days. The first day was "The Feast of the Firstborn" where the Jews, coming of age, would celebrated their last day of "Leavened Bread" before the Passover meal of "Unleavened Bread"! The meal in the upper room was the "Feast of the Firstborn" and Yehushueh and His Students meal was of Leavened Bread. After that meal, and having prayed in the garden, He was arrested, convicted, and executed at the third hour of 13th Nisan. He gave up His Ruakh (Breath) at the ninth hour, and was into the tomb before dusk of the 14th Nisan. Therefore, He was in
the tomb before Passover and did not eat of the Unleavened Bread meal.
Having not eaten the Passover meal, and being the First-Born Bain of Yehueh (Father), He died the death of the first-born son as did the first-born in Egypt. That is why Scripture is clear, He was the fulfillment of being the First-Born who bore the wrath of Elohim (God)for the sins of those who would be saved from the Aret Earth). Yehushueh was placed into the tomb before dusk on the 13th Nisan. He was in the tomb dusk to dusk the 14th Nisan (Thursday), One full day, day one; He was in the tomb dusk to dusk the 15th Nisan (Friday), One full day, day two; He was in the tomb dusk to dusk the 16th Nisan (7th day Sabbath), One full day, day three.
He was resurrected just as 16th Nisan (Sabbath) dusk began 17th Nisan (Sunday). He was the fulfillment of His prophecy that, like Yonah, He would be in the tomb for three days and three nights.
