If you pause long enough, this devotional will meet you right where your heart is.
Before Jesus went to the cross, He knelt.
The King of all creation lowered Himself to wash the feet of people who would soon fail Him, and He did it with tenderness, patience, and love that wasn’t afraid to get close to the dirt.

Holy Thursday invites us to sit with that kind of love…
A love that bends low.
A love that serves quietly.
A love that forgives deeply.
A love that chooses sacrifice over status.

As you read today’s devotional, let yourself reflect:

Where has Jesus knelt in your life?
Who has shown you unexpected grace?
What would it look like to love someone the way He has loved you, gently, humbly, sacrificially?

Let His example soften your heart, reshape your posture, and lead you into a love that looks like Him.

If you’re facing something unknown, this devotional is for you.
Before the cross, before the chaos, Jesus spoke peace — and He still does.
He prepares us not by giving us every answer, but by giving us Himself.
In every season of waiting, uncertainty, transition, or fear, His presence has been the quiet strength carrying you.

You may not know what’s ahead, but you can trust the One who goes before you.
Let His words settle deep today:
“Don’t let your heart be troubled. Trust in God.”

If your heart feels cluttered or heavy, this devotional is for you.
Jesus sees every hidden place inside us, not to shame us, but to heal us.
Just like He cleansed the temple, He lovingly clears out the things that steal our peace: the anxiety that keeps us up at night, the bitterness we’ve carried too long, the pressure to be “strong,” the habits that drain us, and the lies that have shaped us more than truth.

His correction is never cruel.
His cleansing is never harsh.
It’s the kind of love that frees you, restores you, and makes room for His presence again.

Today, let Him overturn the tables in your heart.
Let Him remove what’s been weighing you down.
Let Him make your heart a place of peace, prayer, and rest.

If you’re longing for a fresh start with God, this devotional is for you.
Jesus comes to us the same way He entered Jerusalem, humble, gentle, and intentional.
But to welcome Him fully, we’re invited to come with humility too… surrendering the places we’ve been holding back, the habits that keep us stuck, and the hidden corners we’ve tried to manage alone.

This Easter Week, let the King who comes in humility enter every part of your life, not just the polished places, but the weary, fearful, messy, or guarded ones.
He wants to light up what’s been dark, heal what’s been hurting, and free what’s been bound.

What area is He asking you to surrender today?
Let Him do something new in you.

“Sometimes God allows what He hates to accomplish what He loves.” - Joni Eareckson Tada
A reminder that even in the moments that feel confusing, painful, or unfair, God is still working with purpose.
He never wastes a season, a struggle, or a tear.
What feels heavy today may be the very place He is shaping something beautiful, redemptive, and full of His love.

If your heart feels weary, today’s devotional is a gentle place to rest.
Psalm 28:7 reminds us that God never asked us to be strong on our own.
He becomes our strength when ours runs out, our shield when life feels heavy, and our steady place when everything else feels uncertain.
