Rock Solid Christian Men is to help build: Strong, Bold, Godly Men. What we believe.

We believe the Bible is God breathed. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV)
We believe in one God described in the Bible, “…the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.” (Revelation 21:6 NIV) “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth…” (Acts 17:24 NIV)
We be

lieve Jesus was God in the flesh (the son of God) and that he died for our sins, he was buried, and he was raised on the third day so we may have eternal life with God. He paid the price we could not pay.
“The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14 NIV)
“The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.” (Colossians 1: 15 NIV)
“…that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures…” (1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NIV)
“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14 NIV)
We believe in Baptism. That it is a visual cleansing, dying to the sinful nature and a rebirth with Christ.
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16)
We believe in the “Great Commission” and that it is our responsibility as Christian men to lead the charge.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20 NIV)
We believe we are to do life together helping each other to the end of age. Brother helping Brother.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17 NIV)
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:25 NIV)

He has Risen! What does that mean? Why is today so special?

For me:

It means I’m free from the sin that caused me misery.

It means I have a life worth living.

It means that death is not the end.

Thank you God for the sacrifice of your son, taking on my sins (past, future and present) that I may have eternal life. I reflected on what Jesus did for me (and you) and now I celebrate Him and my life that He gave me!

It was in that day that I became free because I invited Him to rule my life.

Don’t live a life separated from God, invite Jesus in to rule your life.

Do you look down on people that are sinning or do you pray for them and try to help?

When gaming I enjoy multiplayer games better than single player games. You get to share your experiences with someone else, you can work together to accomplish things and the most important, there is someone there to pick me up when I do something dumb!!!
Life is the same way we need others to help us on our journey! If you don’t have other men in your life, pray that God will put someone there that will help pick you up when you do dumb stuff!
Anyone that is a Veteran will have the same answer when asked “What do you miss most about being in the military?”. Almost everyone will say “The Camaraderie!”. We trained daily to look out for one another and you knew your life depended on the person standing beside you.
Rock Solid Christian Men need to bond together and train together. We need to have each others backs! Rock Solid Christian Men need to be there for when one of us do something dumb and need help! Rock Solid Christian Men need to be there for one another to hold each other accountable!
We are not playing a single player game, we have people around us that need us, they need us to be strong, they need us to be reliable, they need us to be Rock Solid Christian Men! They need us to work together!
Men I want to start an online men’s group where we actually meet together, we check in with one another, we hold each other accountable, we pray for one another, we train together. You don’t have to be a long time Christian, you don’t even have to be a Christian, you could be searching for something…we will meet, virtually, once a week to check in, to train, to pray…to build camaraderie.

I will also be starting a local men’s group and we will start to meet in person and virtually to bring the two together. Pray for this! Pray for it to grow and help pick people up!

I’ve started God & Gaming to bring God into every area of my life. I was streaming last night and did some things in a game that was, what I consider, toxic and just mean. I wanted to see if doing something totally against what I believe and model would cause any reactions. One, I felt completely horrible doing it but the reactions I got in game, from my viewers and discord, made me feel even more horrible! Without telling anyone what I was doing, it was against who I am and what I stand for and no one liked it. I had to smooth over relationships because of it. I just felt guilty. A huge amount of gamers play this way and I just don’t understand. I believe and stand by, how you play a game and how you act towards others in a game reflect directly on what type of person you are! It doesn’t matter if it’s a “game” you affect people! Your interactions are no different than in real life. “In Real Life” gamers use this tearm all the time! We separate outside the game and inside the game. There is no difference! People play games to relax, to enjoy their free time and to have social interactions. So if you go into a game thinking “it’s just a game” you then tell yourself, your actions have no repercussions! Toxic behaviors in a game affect people and 100% shows what type of person you are. I still feel horrible for the things I did and the reactions I got. I didn’t think it would be that bad, I did it in such a way I knew the outcome to the player would have no affect to their game result, but people got so mad at me and I could feel their disappointment!
Remember in game still affects people and is a direct reflection of who you are. You can’t be toxic in a game and then try to share God with them. Everything we do, in or out of game, is a direct reflection on us and God. Dont cause anyone to stumble!

I have this overwhelming feeling of “God is Amazing and life is good” I felt it so much I fell to my knees with tears Thanking God this morning. When we are with God, everyday should feel that way no matter what’s happening. But we have our days, let’s be honest. Some days, honestly most days, don’t feel that way. Honestly there is a lot of “dread”…having to go into a job you hate, trying to figure out how to pay bills, feeling like life is against you, wondering how you are going to live life without the family member you just lost…”God is Amazing!” That’s what we focus on! LOOK TO GOD! I say it over and over, Focus on God and everything else will work itself out! Walk in the Light! Don’t dwell in the darkness of self pity or whatever the world throws at you! You have the full power of an Amazing God backing you up! Just remember, everything is in His time, not yours.
Men get on your knees and Thank God for your life and make sure people around you know what an Amazing God you follow. I love you Brothers, God is moving!!!

Without God I couldn’t make it. His strength is what gets me through life. My focus is always on God.
When you are looking through a scope, binoculars or even a telescope and you are focused on your object, everything is clear and perfect…if you move the binoculars, scope or telescope everything gets out of focus and trying to find your object again is really tough! It takes a lot of time to find it and refocus.
Same with God, you get your focus off of him on to the world everything gets distorted, out of focus, sometimes even dark. Keep focused on God and always rely on Him for your strength.
Life is not about getting the most toys, making the most money, having the most important job…life is about loving people and making Disciples. We get focused on all the junk and try to rely on our strength to get it. Then tough times happen, we are focused on the wrong object and then try to find God again. We struggle for a while because we are still relying on our strength…then we finally get our focus on God, start relying on His strength and life falls into place. Seem familiar? I’m talking about me but I’m sure you can relate. Let’s keep our focus on God, loving people and making Disciples!

This is tough for me! “Ungrateful” people set me off! I’m so grateful for everything that I expect everyone to act the same way. This is one of my personality flaws, I expect people to be on my level. When I love I expect everyone to match my level of love. When I work, I expect everyone to be on my level of work. When I care, I expect everyone to be on my level of care. I get frustrated a lot because people can’t match my level. Not because I’m special because I’m not…I push myself to be at a level that is unrealistic. Because of ADHD or just God making me this way, my work, care and love is on a level that is just not reachable by many. And it is not fair to expect that of others. It is not fair of me to be disappointed in people because they are not as grateful as I am about everything. BUT…it doesn’t matter if I feel that way. I am still to be kind to ungrateful people!
The main point to all of this is “BE KIND!”
When we are told to be kind to our enemies that includes people not like us! NO WHERE does it say be mean to people different than you. If you see someone and they make you mad just because they have a different idea, different life ethic, different color, different sexual preference, different anything brother you need time in the word and praying! We are to love everyone and not pick and chose!
Be a Rock Solid Christian Man with how you treat ALL people!
