5 Signs That You’re Anointed by God

The anointing is not just about public ministry or popularity. Many times, it shows first in your spiritual life, your battles, and the way God works through you.

1. You have an unusual hunger for God

You constantly desire prayer, worship, the Word of God, and spiritual growth. Even after drifting, your heart keeps returning to God.

2. Your life attracts spiritual battles

The enemy often fights what carries divine purpose. Constant resistance, warfare, or opposition can sometimes point to a life marked for God’s use.

3. Your words carry impact

When you speak, encourage, pray, or advise people, your words deeply affect them. God uses your voice to heal, strengthen, or convict others.

4. You feel burdened for people

You naturally care about souls, people’s pain, and their spiritual condition. You desire to see lives changed and people brought closer to God.

5. God keeps preserving you

Despite attacks, disappointment, mistakes, or difficult seasons, God continually keeps you standing. His hand of preservation remains evident over your life.

Being anointed does not mean being perfect. The anointing is a calling to surrender, obedience, and deeper intimacy with God.
