🔥 EXCUSES OVER REPENTANCE! 🔥

The heart is deceitful, and sometimes the greatest deception is convincing ourselves that we don’t need to change.

📖 Jeremiah 17:9 (KJV)
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”

We live in a generation where people would rather justify their actions than repent of them.

We make excuses for our behavior, defend our disobedience, and blame others instead of allowing God to correct our hearts.

But here’s the truth: God is not looking for excuses. He’s looking for repentance.

Repentance requires humility. It requires accountability. It requires us to acknowledge where we’ve fallen short and turn away from what separates us from God.

Stop allowing your feelings to justify what God’s Word has already corrected.

Your heart can deceive you, but God’s Word will always reveal the truth!

📖 Proverbs 28:13 — Whoever conceals their sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will find mercy.

Conviction is not condemnation. It’s an opportunity for transformation!

🔥 NO MASKS RECAP | REAL MEN. REAL CONVERSATIONS. REAL IMPACT. 🔥

What an incredible experience! 🙌🏽

NO MASKS was more than a gathering—it was a movement of transparency, brotherhood, healing, and growth!

Men and young men came together in a space where they could remove the masks, let down their guards, and have honest conversations about the challenges they face every day.

We talked about identity, purpose, relationships, mental health, fatherhood, faith, and the pressures of being a man in today’s world.

💪🏽 Walls came down.
🔥 Real conversations happened.
🤝 Brotherhood was strengthened.
🙏🏽 Lives were impacted.

One thing became clear: Men need spaces where they can be heard, encouraged, challenged, and strengthened without judgment.

We are grateful for every speaker, volunteer, and participant who helped make NO MASKS such a tremendous success!

At Thrive Church, our Production Team plays a vital role in making sure the Gospel reaches beyond the four walls of the church!

From managing cameras and audio to livestreaming our services and creating an experience for those worshiping online, every detail matters.

Every effort helps spread the Gospel.

Pastoring is more than a title—it is a calling, a commitment, and a life of serving God’s people. We thank God for blessing Thrive Church with shepherds who love God and His people!

FOLLOW JESUS, BUT DON’T FOLLOW EVERYTHING THAT CLAIMS TO BE OF GOD!

Not every voice speaking about God is speaking FOR God. Not every spiritual influence is led by the Holy Spirit, and not everything that sounds good is rooted in truth.

The Bible reminds us:

📖 1 John 4:1 (KJV)
“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God.”

This is why SPIRITUAL DISCERNMENT IS SO IMPORTANT!

Don’t be so impressed by someone’s gift that you overlook their fruit. Don’t be so moved by what sounds spiritual that you forget to examine it through God’s Word.

Jesus never called us to blindly follow people. He called us to FOLLOW HIM!

Stay rooted in Scripture.
Stay connected to God through prayer.
Ask the Holy Spirit for discernment.
And remember, everything that looks spiritual isn’t necessarily godly.

FOLLOW JESUS. KNOW HIS WORD. TEST THE SPIRITS.

DON’T GIVE UP ON GOD! 🙌🏽

The Israelites witnessed God perform miracles, deliver them from Egypt, and provide for them in the wilderness. Yet, before reaching the Promised Land, they allowed complaining, fear, and unbelief to overshadow what God had already done!

Don’t let your frustration in the wilderness cause you to lose faith in God’s promises!

Just because the journey is difficult doesn’t mean God has abandoned you. Sometimes the greatest test of your faith comes before you walk into what God has promised.

Stop focusing on what you don’t have and start remembering what God has already brought you through!

Don’t allow a temporary wilderness experience to make you doubt an eternal God!

🔥 Keep trusting. Keep believing. DON’T GIVE UP ON GOD!
