Allow Jesus Christ to Redeem You!

This back-to-school season, Thrive Church had the opportunity to place book bag tags into the hands of students throughout Clover and York County—each one sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and the encouragement of Philippians 4:6–7.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Our prayer is that every time a student sees this tag, they are reminded that God is with them, His peace is available to them, and they are never alone.

Please join us in praying for every student, teacher, school administrator, and family as they begin a new school year. May God’s wisdom, protection, and peace go with them each day.

Serving isn’t just something we do—it’s who we’re called to be.

This past weekend, our volunteers came together to serve families in our community through our Back-to-School Outreach. Every smile, every conversation, and every act of kindness was an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

We believe the love of Christ is best demonstrated through action. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and supporter who gave your time, energy, and heart to make a difference. Because of you, students, teachers, and families were reminded that they are seen, valued, and loved.

This is what the Church looks like—loving God, loving people, and serving our community.
