Let us pray for all those who serve us--our military, our hospital workers, our teachers, our clerks, our maintenance workers, our grounds keepers, all those who touch our lives, and our priests. We pray for God's blessing on each of them. Happy and safe Labor Day!

Remembering Monsignor Robert Golombek. From the Diocese of Buffalo:

In thanksgiving for a life well lived and over 61 years of priestly ministry, I share with you the news that Rev. Msgr. Robert Golombek, a retired priest of the Diocese of Buffalo, returned home to the Lord on Friday, August 28, 2026.

The family will receive friends at the C. Mertz and Son Funeral Home, 911 Englewood Avenue, on Sunday, September 6, 2026 from 1-5pm. Msgr. Golombek will lie in repose at St. Gregory the Great Church, 200 St. Gregory Court, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 from 9-10am where a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10am with Most Reverend Michael W. Fisher officiating.
