Cook Ministries We are not a 24-hour helpline, we only hope to serve as a bridge to help! Our focus is on people, not on ministry.

Cook Ministries is a 501c3 nonprofit Christian Street ministry, our goal is to advocate and educate about mental health awareness and to facilitate those in our communities searching for help, while facilitating basic physical needs as well as their spiritual needs
In order to change the world, there must first be a group of people who understand what the focus is, and that’s Kingdom principles. J

esus came to serve people, love people, preach to people, heal people and deliver people. Take care of people and the ministry takes care of itself.

We are looking to hire one thrift store associate, and we have one spot with your name on it!

Starting pay is $11 an hour.

This position includes sorting clothes, tagging items, unloading donations, cleaning donations so they are ready for the sales floor, running the cash register, and helping keep the store organized.

We are looking for someone dependable, willing to work, and able to stay busy in a fast-paced environment. This is not a sit-down job, but it is meaningful work that helps support the mission of Caring Heart Outreach.

We do not pay under the table, and we do not issue a 1099 for employee positions.

We believe our employees deserve the protection that comes with being real employees. That means workers’ comp coverage, unemployment insurance, and payroll taxes being handled correctly.

We are still collecting PLASTIC BAGS - this is an ongoing project!
If you have bags we will take them!!! There is a drop off spot in Hanceville if you are local - or we would be glad to meet!
These bags are miraculously and wonderfully transformed into mats for the homeless. It takes a lot of hard work, organization and love for this transformation and together we can make it work!
