Imagine waking up after 20 years to a world of touchscreens, QR codes, and app-based transit when the last thing you used was a payphone

For men and women leaving prison, reentering society isn't fiction—it's an overwhelming daily reality. Handing someone a bus ticket on release day isn't enough; they need guidance, digital literacy, and community support to thrive.

Through three new state prison grants and our reentry housing programs, TPOM is looking for dedicated mentors to step up and walk alongside these men and women. We handle the training and the matching—all you need to bring is your time and encouragement.

A CELEBRATION OF SECOND CHANCES
I'm excited to emcee the annual TPOM Benefit Dinner in Nashville next week!
The good times will even include a special performance by "The Voice" winner, Jake Hoot.
The Tennessee Prison Outreach Ministry is one of the first organizations that connected with me here in Nashville.
Their programs help people in and leaving prison, along with their families, with resources that empower them to build healthy, fulfilling lives.
It's valuable work to reduce mass incarceration and recidivism in the community and is one of the faith-based organizations supported by Gov. Bill Lee.

Vanderbilt University School of Medicine
TPOM’s Thomas Snow and Mary McCrary joined a panel discussion at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine to address the reality of healthcare in Tennessee’s prisons and jails. By opening up this dialogue with future doctors, we’re working to bridge critical gaps in care and ensure the next generation of healthcare providers understands the unique needs of justice-involved individuals.
