LEAF is a campus ministry at Elon University which began in 2007. LEAF is a student-driven organization. This organization is made possibly by the support of The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and The Episcopal Church. In addition, we are supported by a Board of Directors, The Truitt Center at Elon University, and Macedonia Lutheran Church and The Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter. The LEAF student leaders are an elected group of students who serve as the liaison between LEAF Community and the Elon University SGA. The student leaders guide the mission, programming, and community LEAF fosters. Julie Tonnesen serves as the LEAF Campus Minister, and The Reverend Joel Harter serves as LEAF's faculty advisor. We meet for worship, followed by a meal, in the Numen Lumen Pavilion at Elon University on Sundays at 4:30 pm during the academic year, and we encourage you to join us for worship, food, and conversation. In addition, we meet for conversation and coffee in Irazu Coffee Shop from 4-6 pm on Tuesday afternoons.
