What We Believe
The following are the core beliefs of Crossroads Christian Church based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in, and flows out of, these Biblical doctrines. God: There is one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and each possesses all the attributes of God. God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe and everything in it. Gen. 1:1, 26-27; Ps. 90:2; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14



Jesus: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is one with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is our Savior, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on a cross for all sin, and was raised from the grave after three days to demonstrate His defeat of sin and death. He ascended into heaven and will return to earth to reign as our powerful King. Matt. 1:22-23; John 1:1-5; Heb.14-15; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; Acts 1:9-11; Col. 2:9-10; 1 Tim. 6:14-15



Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit is one with God the Father and Jesus Christ. Those who accept Christ as their Savior will receive the Holy Spirit to live inside them. The Holy Spirit serves as our comforter, guide, and advocate. The Holy Spirit is given to Christians and provides guidance in living, an understanding of the Bible, and prayerful intercession. Acts 1:8; John 14:16-17, 16:7-13; Gal. 5:25; 1 Cor. 2:12, 3:16; Eph. 1:13; 2 Cor. 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2



Bible: Our foundation is based firmly upon the Bible as our ultimate authority on Christian beliefs and a guide to living. The Bible is divinely inspired by God, without error, given to man so that we may know and understand the truth of God and His love.

Salvation: Salvation is not something that can be purchased or earned. It is a free gift from God provided by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and is received through faith. It is available to everyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. That faith is expressed through repentance of sin and baptism by immersion. Acts 2:38; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Rom. 5:10, 6:23, 10:10; Eph. 2:8-10



Humanity: All people are made in the image of God and were created to live the adventure of following Jesus Christ. Although we, as people, have tremendous potential for good, we also have the freedom to do evil. Our disobedience toward God is called “sin” and that separates all humanity from God. Gen. 1:27; Isa. 53:6, 59:1-2; Rom. 3:23; Ps. 139:13-16; Col. 2:13-15

AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE FAMILIES OF CROSSROADS CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF UNIONVILLE. Also, to our friends, partners, community members, and all those who have been faithful in praying for us and the ministry here in Unionville…

We want to thank everyone who has been involved with, supported, and encouraged us as we have been fortunate to spend the past year doing life with and ministering to the community of Unionville. It has been a tremendous year and we have seen God’s plan at work in many lives and situations. He is good and continues to be faithful, our prayer has been and continues to be that all our actions are glorifying and pleasing to Him. That has been the case each week for the past year and is still true today.

Unfortunately, it is necessary now for a change to be made. Due to several circumstances, some unforeseen and otherwise, after this Sunday’s worship service (9/15/24) we will be suspending our weekly services for an undetermined period of time. It is our prayer that at some point in the future we will be able to announce a return to gathering together in Unionville, but for the time being it is just not possible or feasible. In addition to us ending our weekly gatherings after this week, we also must cancel our Funds, Facts, and Flapjacks fundraiser that had been scheduled for this Saturday (9/14).

We want to fully express our gratitude and appreciation to everyone who has contributed to Crossroads over the past year. To our church family we have been blessed to worship alongside and walk through life with, we cannot properly express the joy we’ve felt spending this year together with you all, and we hope you can join us this weekend at 10:30am for our final service so we can worship our Savior and give Him praise for all He has done and continues to do.

Finally, I would ask that you continue to pray with us. Pray for God’s truth to be shared in Unionville and throughout our communities, pray for His love to be evident and felt by all, and pray for wisdom for us all as we continue to seek His will to determine what may be next and how we can best serve Him.
