This weekend looks like a major ice event for our area. I will continue to monitor and will determine if we will have church or not by tomorrow. We will have two people on standby for emergency if they are needed. Jimmy Tullos his number is 662-891-3868 and Heath Harden 662-213-5526. Make sure you check on your neighbors and make sure they are ok. A reminder for the extreme cold to let your water drip, hot and cold, to help water pipe breaks. Lastly I am asking all to be praying today between 4-5 that this storm is not as bad as forecasted and that everyone stays safe. Psalms 34:17 says "“The righteous cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.” Jesus tells His disciples in Mark 11:22-24" “And Jesus *answered saying to them, “Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it will be granted him. Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.”

As I always say God's got this. Let's trust in Him.

Fall Festival at Palmetto Methodist Church will be October 26 at 5pm. Little ones arrive in costume for trick or treat parade which will start promptly at 5:10pm, followed by hot dog dinner and some carnival games. Please come join us for fun and fellowship.

Revival is still going on at Palmetto Methodist. We have had a wonderful prayer meeting on Sunday night and then Brother Jim delivered a Holy Spirited led sermon on how to live in our faith last night. Tonight we will have BBQ sandwiches and all the fixings for supper at 5:30 and then I expect God to fill the church with His presence as Brother Jim brings another Holy Spirited led sermon. Come join us!

We will have a revival October 19-22. Sunday night we will have a prayer service. Monday through Wednesday we will have guest pastor Jim McClurkan. A meal will be served each night at 5:30pm with service following around 6:15pm. Please come join us!

Don’t forget worship this week at Palmetto Methodist will start at 9:00! No Sunday school. Plantersville Methodist homecoming will start at 10:30 with a pot luck meal after. Come join us this week for worshiping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Bible Study tonight starting at 5:30. We will be having sandwiches from Jimmy John’s for our meal. We will continue our study in the book “Class Meeting”. Hope to see you there tonight!!

Bible study tonight starting at 5:30. Our meal will be BBQ. I will get the meat and buns if others will bring sides. Please let me know if you will be eating so I can get an accurate amount of food. Our lesson is on chapter 5 of our book. Hope to see everyone there tonight. Also this Sunday is our Kidz Jam/ KIX family tailgate night. Bring your favorite tailgate food and enjoy some good food and fellowship.

Bible Study tomorrow night starting at 5:30. Our meal will be Chick Fil A. Please let me know if you want a fried or grilled sandwich. Fried is 5 and grilled is 6. We will be in lesson two of our study on “Class Meetings”. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
