What does it mean that Christ lives in me?

Galatians 2:20 doesn't teach that Christians instantly become perfect. We still struggle with the desires of the flesh, but through the Holy Spirit, our hearts begin to change.

Instead of living for ourselves, we begin living for the One who loved us and gave Himself for us.

We all appreciate second chances.

Whether it's a missed goal, a poor decision, or a regret we wish we could erase, we long for a fresh start.

The good news is that God doesn't simply wipe the slate clean. Through Jesus Christ, He gives us something even greater. He gives us a new life.

In Galatians 2:20, Paul answers an important question: What does that new life actually look like?

What does it mean to be crucified with Christ?

What does it mean that Christ lives in us?

How do we live by faith each day?

The Holy Spirit's Work Didn't End at Your Salvation

Titus 3:5 reminds us that the Holy Spirit not only regenerates us but also renews us. This renewal is ongoing. As we walk with Christ, the Holy Spirit continues transforming us so that we become more like Him.

What is mercy?
When Paul says, "He saved us... according to His own mercy" (Titus 3:5), he reminds us that our salvation begins with God's character—not our works.
Mercy is God's deep compassion that moves Him to act. He doesn't look at our sin and suffering from a distance. Through Jesus Christ, He draws near to forgive, heal, and restore.

God's mercy and grace were perfectly revealed through Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.
Titus 3:5 reminds us that God didn't save us because of our works, but because of His mercy. And as those who have received mercy, we are called to show mercy to others.

What if one small word could change everything?
In Titus 3:4-5, Paul moves from the bad news of our sin to the incredible good news of God's mercy.
"But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, He saved us..."
