This Sunday, January 22nd, 2023, join us as we welcome our guest speaker Rev. Terry L. Buxton, Sr., Ed. D (Candidate).

A native of OKC, Rev. Buxton serves as Pastor of Agape Bible Fellowship (Tulsa, OK). He is married to his high school sweetheart, Elaine, and together they have three wonderful children and two awesome grandchildren. He is an honors graduate of Langston University (Bachelor of Science in Education), Oral Roberts University (Master of Arts in Practical Theology) and is currently a Candidate for the Doctor of Education (Ed. D) degree at ORU. Rev. Buxton is a certified instructor with the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education.

He served as Pastor of First Baptist Church North Tulsa, Children’s Pastor at Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX., Children’s Church Minister at St. John Missionary Baptist Church (OKC) and as Associate Minister at Emmanuel Baptist Church (OKC). He’s taught classes at Tulsa Community College and has received many awards and acknowledgements, including Outstanding Alumnus Award (Langston University), Guest Chaplain (OK State Senate), and Teacher of The Year (East Central JHS, Tulsa Public Schools). He has preached and conducted workshops throughout the U.S. and engaged in missions work in Malawi, Africa. Rev. Buxton is an ardent Dallas Cowboys fan and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
