Story time:
🫡This was one of my longest, yet interesting trade negotiation happened with this guy from Austria at the Believe the Promise International Camporee.

🏄🏻‍♂️He really really wanted some of the pins in my white Hawaii surfboard set so he could complete his own set. Of course I was very reluctant to split the set, it had been tough to trade and put it together at my last Pacific Union Camporee and had to let go some really fancy pins to get it. (Including the Zoom meeting pin in the next photo)

🫱🏾‍🫲🏻Well, he ended up sweetening the deal with some scarves, pretty good ones and the trade happened. Both parties happy with the trade, we definitely had to get a picture taken! There was a large group weighing in on what would be a fair trade and this was full of laughter, story telling, jokes, and quite some interesting commentary.

🤩So now I have the Austrian pin, the special Austrian Scarf, another scarf from his hometown in Karnten-Austria, a Brazilian scarf, and a Pathfinder cap. Lol. Check the photos for Images of what we traded.

⁉️Fair deal?
I guess it depends on how badly you want that Hawaii set in your collection.
