Pentecost Sunday�Sermon: Pentecost = Change
Scripture: Acts 2:1-21

Most of us don’t love change.

We like routines. Familiar places. Knowing what comes next.
�But life has a way of shifting anyway—and sometimes faith does too.
Pentecost is the story of God disrupting the ordinary.�Wind. Fire. New voices. New purpose.
�A group of fearful disciples suddenly became people ready to change the world.
Maybe the Spirit still works that way in us.

Join us this Sunday as we reflect on “Pentecost = Change” from Acts 2:1-21 and what it means to be open to where God is leading next.

Ascension Sunday�Sermon: Why Are You Looking At The Sky?
Scripture: Acts 1:1-11

Sometimes life leaves us feeling stuck.

Waiting for answers. Waiting for clarity. Waiting for things to get better.�And if we’re honest, sometimes we spend a lot of time looking up, looking back, or wondering what’s next.

In Acts 1, the disciples stand staring into the sky after Jesus ascends—until the angels ask them, “Why are you looking at the sky?”

Maybe it’s a reminder for us too.

Faith isn’t just about waiting around for God to do something someday. It’s about noticing where God is already moving right here, right now—in our everyday lives, our relationships, our community, and the small opportunities to love and serve others.

Join us this Sunday as we worship together and reflect on what it means to stop standing still and start living with purpose and hope.

Last Sunday was Youth Sunday, and what a gift it was to be led in worship by the young people of our church. 💛

From music and scripture to prayers, reflections, and leadership, our youth reminded us that the church is not just preparing for the future—the church is alive and growing right now.

We are so proud of these students and grateful for the ways they shared their faith, their gifts, and their hearts with our church family.

This Sunday, we’re celebrating the women who have loved us, encouraged us, fed us, prayed for us, cheered us on, and probably reminded us to bring a jacket at least once or twice. 💐

We’re grateful for mothers, grandmothers, mentors, spiritual mothers, and all the women who help shape our lives in big and small ways.
