June is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus—a powerful reminder of Christ’s boundless love, mercy, and compassion for each of us.

In a world that often feels hurried and heavy, the Sacred Heart invites us to slow down and rest in a love that never fails. It is a heart that forgives endlessly, welcomes unconditionally, and suffers alongside us.
This month, may we draw closer to that love. Take a moment each day to pray, reflect, or simply be still. Let His heart shape ours—more patient, more compassionate, more open to others.
“Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.”

✝️ He is Risen! Alleluia! ✝️

On this most glorious of mornings, the Knights of Columbus Council 2988 wish all our brothers, families, and neighbors a most blessed and joyful Easter Sunday.

The Resurrection of Our Lord is the cornerstone of our Faith — the promise that love is stronger than death, that light overcomes darkness, and that hope is never in vain. May the joy of this holy day fill your homes and remain in your hearts throughout the Easter season.

To our brother Knights and their families: thank you for your continued dedication to Faith, Family, and Service. It is an honor to stand alongside men of such character in service to God and neighbor.

“I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” — John 11:25

🕊️ Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful and grace-filled Easter.
Vivat Jesus!

Good Friday
Knights of Columbus Council 2989

Today, we pause in solemn remembrance of the greatest act of love the world has ever known — the Passion and Death of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.

— John 15:13

On this most solemn day, we unite in prayer with the Church throughout the world. We venerate the Holy Cross upon which hung the Savior of the world, and we hold close in our hearts all those who suffer — praying they may find consolation in the sacrifice of Christ.

As Knights, we are called to lives of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism — virtues rooted in the selfless love Christ showed us on Calvary. May this Good Friday deepen our faith and renew our commitment to serve God and neighbor.

We invite you to join us at your parish's Good Friday liturgy, including the Stations of the Cross, veneration of the Cross, and the Celebration of the Lord's Passion.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them.

✝ Blessed Good Friday from your brothers in the Knights of Columbus.

Happy Feast Day of St. Patrick!
Patron Saint of Ireland — March 17, his day of heavenly birth

🙏
A man of deep prayer — In his own writings, Patrick says he prayed up to 100 times a day during his years of captivity. His faith was forged in suffering.

📖
Called by God — After escaping slavery, Patrick received a vision in a dream calling him back to Ireland to preach the Gospel — and he obeyed.

Ordained bishop, sent by Rome — Patrick was consecrated as a bishop and sent as a missionary to Ireland under the authority of the Catholic Church.

☘️
Teaching the Holy Trinity — He used the shamrock to explain the mystery of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — three persons, one God.

🕯️
Lit the Easter Fire — On the Hill of Slane, Patrick lit a Paschal fire to celebrate Easter in defiance of pagan law — and the High King could not extinguish it.

🐍
Cast out the serpent — Like the Apostles before him, Patrick drove evil from the land. The "snakes" symbolize the defeat of paganism through Christ's grace.

📜
St. Patrick's Breastplate — One of the oldest Christian prayers in the Western world, attributed to Patrick: "Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ within me..."

👼
March 17 is his "dies natalis" — In Catholic tradition, a saint's feast day is the day they died and entered eternal life — their true birthday into Heaven.
"I am Patrick, a sinner, most unlearned, the least of all the faithful... I owe it to God's grace that so many peoples through me should be born again to Him."
— St. Patrick, Confessio

St. Patrick, pray for us! ✝️☘️
