La Verkin Utah Stake

Dear Brothers and Sisters of the La Verkin Utah Stake,

We hope you are all doing well and enjoying the beginning of a new year. We have been blessed the last couple of years with sufficient winter storms to help us out of the drought that we were in. As you know, we are off to a slow start this winter, and although the warm weather is enjoyable, we need the weather pattern to change. We invite you to join us these next few months to pray and fast for storms that will bring the water we need for this year. We would especially ask you to include this in your fasting for the next 4 months and enlist the faith and prayers of our children and youth. We firmly believe that combining our faith as a stake will help bring the needed blessings.

We optimistically look forward to 2025 with the shared faith of President Nelson that "the best is yet to come". May the Lord bless you throughout this year in all your righteous endeavors!
