Announcements:

This weekend is Pathfinder Weekend! On Sunday, September 13, there will also be registration for the 2026-27 Pathfinder year!

The Pillars of our Faith concert will be at 5:00 pm on Sabbath, September 19 in the sanctuary. Join us on a musical journey through songs of doctrine and heritage that make us all uniquely Adventist! The music will be brought to you by the Cabezas and Barbosa families.

A new Women’s Book Study begins on September 30 at 2:00 pm in the Stricker home (2837 SW Stutley Rd). This book study will start with “The Sonship of Christ” and will meet every other week. See the bulletin board for ordering specifics and other details.

The annual Women’s Retreat is from October 16-18 in Kearney Nebraska. Join your sisters from across the conference for a time of food, faith, and fellowship! Visit www.ks-ne.org or talk to Velda Mena Cruz for more information!

NOTICE:
The TACS Fundraiser Gala has been postponed to the spring! The bad news: we have to wait. The good news: it gives you more time to come up with something massive and valuable to donate to a good cause! Details are forthcoming!

Happy Wednesday church family! Since it's Wednesday, here is the mission spotlight. https://adventistmission.org/mission-awareness/mission-spotlight

First of all, The Daniel and Revelation studies will continue on Friday, September 4. Join us as we allow the Holy Spirit through the Word unlock these books. We will meet at 6:30 pm in the chapel.

This Sabbath, the King's Heralds will be in concert and will take over the entire church service! Invite friends, family, co-workers!

Because of the concert, we've moved up the monthly Whole Church Potluck to this Sabbath immediately after the service/concert. Plan accordingly!

I am including this picture as a sad commentary on how many Christians feel. If they can't fit God into the small box of their understanding, it must not be true. I for one can;t worship a God I'm not in awe of!

Join your friends for the annual end of summer bash! Bring your favorite picnic food THIS Friday, August 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Hoehns' back yards. There will be sand for little kids to play in; a swim island for older kids; kayaks for the brave, pontoon boat rides for all. Also, we’ll have sundown worship together.

If you weren't able to hear the appeal, TACS is looking for volunteers for everything from meals to helping read with students. Also, the school is looking for more students. Pray for those on the precipice of decision and suggest TACS to people you may know who are not happy with the public school system! Reach out to Pati Covel for more information!
