Dear God, we thank you for all children around the world. We lift up our little ones from K-12, pre K and even our college students.
Father God, parents here at The Family Baptist Church are reaching out, seeking prayer for the children, as they are headed back to school.
Father, society is changing drastically. As you know, it's nothing as you created it to be. Everything you have set on place, is under attack, especially the Family. So, we lift up every household and community. Father you know every home and every need. We pray that children have comfortable beds to sleep in, shelter, food and clothes.
We pray for the home of single parents. Father, we pray for the home with Mom and Dad, for every household raising children. Father cover the children. Expose any abuse, verbal, physical or sexual.
Father, please watch over the children, and dispatch your angels from the north, south, east, and west. Protect them from pedophiles, the child traffickers, and their peers that are bullies.
Cover the school buses, the school houses and play grounds with your blood. Let this be a better year. We bind up and rebuke that spirit of the mass shootings, gun violence and gangs..., Release the power of love, compassion and reconciliation.
Father there is so much evil in the land. We pray for the hearts and minds of every parent or person standing in parents shoes. God crown their heads with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Help them not to be overly occupied with their adult concerns that they neglect or miss the needs of the children.
We lift up the parents that have need to be their child's friend..., Help the ones that didn't get what they needed as a child or possibly was abused and so now, they have no idea, how to nurture and care for their children. We pray for healing and guidance. In the name of Jesus.
Father, we pray for the Principal and Super Intendent of every school. We pray for all staff and administration. Father, as they are caring for others children, we pray for their children. Father, we lift up the cafeteria, those that are running the cafeteria, cooking and warming the food. Give them parental hearts and discernment. Father, feed the poor and protect their hearts and minds from fear and shame.
Father, mental illness, pain, violence and any other evil thing is not of you. It surely exists in the world today. We pray that congregations "The Church", will see the needs of the communities they are positioned in and render whatever services they (we) can. We thank you for those congregations and independent ministries that are very much involved already.
As we close, this prayer. If there is anything we have failed to ask, don't fail to grant. If there is one we forgot to mention, please remember. God we love you and we trust you. We thank you for a blessed and productive school year. Academically, socially, and spiritually according to your word.
In the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen
