It was an easy walk to the bridge. From here it got dirty. Fording the creek allowed cool refreshing water to wash the insides of our shoes and our toes. Would happily do it again!

Saturday's (September 26th) moderate hike is Ash Creek Loop (3.8 miles) at Smithgall Woods State Park. Parking pass is $10. Four of you can ride with me for free. Afterwards, we can eat lunch in Helen. We will leave the church at 9:00 sharp! Call Jeff if you are running late.

Our May 12th adventure took us to the Bill and Dustie MacKay (Shortline) Trail. A great time was had by all!

We had a beautiful day for the Lake Russell Lake Trail hike

October 29th at 2PM Join us for our next hike at Tugaloo Bend. This will be a relatively short and easy hike of about 2 miles. It's a great route for all ages and abilities. There is also just a .4 mile trail from the pavilion for those not wanting to walk far, but still be involved. We will gather for worship in the pavilion at 3 PM. All are invited.
