Worship Leader

šŸŽµ Hello everyone! Christ the Rock is looking for a guitar/piano playing worship leader! šŸŽø

Are you passionate about praising God through music? Our church is looking for a worship leader who can lead the congregation on Sunday mornings once or twice a month. We are looking for people who have a heart for worship rather than a desire to perform. We are a small, loving community welcoming individuals who are looking for a grace-filled space to practice and grow in their worship gifting. Experienced worship leaders are welcome too. We want to honor your time and God given talents, so we do provide a paid per Sunday honorarium. If you are interested in learning more about this amazing opportunity, please DM me. God bless you!

🐐 What is a G.O.A.T.?

Some of you might instantly picture a four-legged, furry creature. šŸ Others know it stands for The Greatest Of All Time—like Muhammad Ali, LL Cool J, or Michael Jordan. šŸ€šŸ„Š

We use the term to describe people with extraordinary, unmatched ability. But did you know the idea of "the greatest" goes back much further than modern sports and culture?

Jesus actually talked a lot about being the greatest.

But He didn't speak in terms of personal fame, wealth, or worldly accomplishments. His definition of greatness is completely different from how we think about it today. šŸ‘‘

Join us for our upcoming sermon series, PRACTICING GREATNESS. Together, we will learn directly from Jesus what true greatness looks like and how to become truly great in what matters most: the Kingdom of God. ✨

If you want to live a life that matters for eternity, we'll see you this Sunday!

šŸ“Œ Series: Practicing Greatness

How to Actually Move Forward in Your Faith...

Are you spinning your wheels in your spiritual life? Many of us feel like we’re trying to follow God, but we aren't actually going anywhere. It turns out, moving forward isn't about working harder—it’s about understanding the "Two-Pedal" secret.

In this clip, we break down the simple mechanics of the Christian life. If you’ve ever felt like your faith is stagnant or you’re waiting for a "sign" to move, this analogy of the bicycle will change how you look at your daily walk with God.

Faith and faithfulness aren't two separate things—they are the two pedals on a bike.

Pedal 1: Trust. Acknowledging who God is and leaning into His promises.

Pedal 2: Action. Continuing to do what He says, even when it’s small.

Imagine a life where you aren't just "surviving" the week, but actually gaining ground. When you synchronize trust and obedience, you stop wobbling and start moving forward with momentum. This is how "faith" becomes "faithfulness."

If this analogy helped you, hit the LIKE button and SUBSCRIBE for more weekly insights on following Jesus.

What is one area where you’re practicing "Pedal 2" (Obedience) this week? Let us know in the comments!

Why Gen Alpha Says "Trust" (And Why You Should Too)

Breaking down why the latest Gen Alpha and Gen Z slang—like "No Cap," "Rizz," and "Trust"is a good reminder for us today. When the world feels like it’s "cooked," how do we find a foundation that doesn't shift?

Faith isn't about having all the answers; it's about trusting the One who does. Pastor Chris explores how a single word—Trust—is the ultimate response to the storms we all face. Whether you are dealing with unexpected job loss, anxiety about the future, or difficult family decisions, the answer remains the same: "I trust you, Lord." Watch as we bridge the gap between modern culture and biblical peace.
