God spoke to me in a dream this week.
In this dream I was traveling by foot with a little boy and a couple of other people.
On this journey bad things would appear and we would change our direction to avoid havoc.
We ended up in a house and the little boy ran to this big bed and covered up . You know like we do sometimes ( paralyzed) in fear . I said you need to get out of bed and go to the restroom but the little boy said he did need to go but was not leaving his blanket.
The next thing I new we had a big balloon we drew a funny face on it we were having such a good time until something evil grabbed our balloon and started pulling it stretching it the balloon became distorted as this happened the face on the balloon looked sad and ugly.
Because I had the allusion that the evil had control of my balloon I thought the funny face had changed into a ugly sad face and the thought was the balloon would eventually pop.
The evil turns loose of the balloon because he did not have the power to break the balloon and the balloon came back to shape the face on the balloon was a happy face once again.
Moral of this story is .
There is evil all around.
Bad things happen.
Our life seems to look extremely bad at times but We are Gods children.
He gave us victory, Love ,joy, peace, gentleness
The devil can not take what God has given us.
It is not his to take.
The only way our journey is detoured by him is if we believe the distortion and allow it to become our allusion . When this happens fear grabs us and we make bad decisions those decisions take our journey off course.
A magician is very often called an allusionest .
Why ?
It is only magic if you believe the allusion.
Satin only has the power over you and your situation if you through your mind believe the distortion and allow it to become your allusion.
1 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She [is] my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou [art but] a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she [is] a man's wife.
4 But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?
5 Said he not unto me, She [is] my sister? and she, even she herself said, He [is] my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.
6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.
7 Now therefore restore the man [his] wife; for he [is] a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore [her] not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that [are] thine.
8 Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.
9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.
10 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?
11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God [is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.
12 And yet indeed [she is] my sister; she [is] the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.
13 And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This [is] thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He [is] my brother.
14 And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave [them] unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.
15 And Abimelech said, Behold, my land [is] before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.
16 And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand [pieces] of silver: behold, he [is] to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that [are] with thee, and with all [other]: thus she was reproved.
17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare [children].
18 For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife. (Genesis 20:1, KJV)
Was Sara taken from Abraham because he lied to Abimelech ?
I say no!
11 And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God [is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake.
You see Abraham the man of God assessed the situation and allowed his eyes to distort his mind and believed an allusion.
His mind was full of fear because he assumed satin was in control ( the man of God ) allowed his mind to be controlled by what his eyes seen in the carnal not by what God had promised him.
Genuses 17:[5] Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. [6] And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee
Think about the hell Abraham lived in that night.
The thoughts of what was happening to his wife who he loved .
He allowed this to happen. But God is not a man that he would lie
18 And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:
19 God [is] not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do [it]? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
20 Behold, I have received [commandment] to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.
21 He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God [is] with him, and the shout of a king [is] among them. (Numbers 23:18, KJV)
The battle is in the mind.
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"
2 Corinthians 10:5,
Don’t believe Satin’s allusion.
