Friday July 31st HHF will be helping a family in need. The basement sustained some water damage during our rainy season, so we will be removing drywall from the walls that still have it in place and hauling it out to a dumpster. Much of the drywall that was previously taken down is in a dry location outside and also needs to be put in the dumpster. We need a crew of 6 or 7 for about 4 hours. If you have a few hours that day and can volunteer please contact me at [email protected]. or leave a comment here.

I want to encourage you, if you are having a tough or long week take a half a Saturday and come serve with us on a project for one of these single moms; I know, believe me that just doesn't sound logical to try and cram a few more hours of something into your week, but here is what I have experienced...no matter how long or tough the week has been when that mom invites us in to her home beaming with hope and excitement my long/tough week melts away and my heart is filled. I love how God works!!

Hello friends,
Well we are getting started a little late this year, but I am excited about the Be the Gift project line up.

Our first project with Be the Gift is next Saturday March 14th @ 9am-2:30 pm (I will be on site at 8:30am) in Lochbuie, CO. Part day workers welcome!

There are many ways to volunteer: bring your tools and talents, or if can't work that Saturday maybe you would consider putting lunch together for the working volunteers. Please don't feel that because you can't swing a hammer or run a drill that you can't help, I need someone to help make sure everyone is signed in and I need a social butterfly who will fellowship with the mom.

Yesterday during the Thanksgiving Dinner distribution I received a card addressed to New Destiny. The 2 cutest little girls brought it to me. I didn't open it until late last night. So now I'm sharing. ;)

What an amazing day! We had 101 complete Thanksgiving meals that were handed out and we ended our day feeling blessed. MOBB Youth rocked! These kids worked so hard and I am so proud of each and every one of them. It took so many people to make this happen and I wanted to send out a special thank you to each of you. This wouldn't have happened without each of you playing the part you played. Thank you and God bless!
