Catholic Daughters of the Americas engages in creative and spiritual programs which provide its members with the opportunity to develop their God-given talents in meaningful ways that positively influence the welfare of the Church and all people throughout the world. Founded on November 10, 2001, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux, Louisiana, Catholic Daughters Court Genevieve of Paris #2496, continues to grow and thrive in its south Louisiana home. The women of court #2496, currently 64 strong, strive to serve their community and parish, deepen their spirituality and live and grow in Catholic fellowship.

Fr. Sam Okyere, a former parochial vicar here at St. Genevieve, has published his first book. Our CDA Court will host a book study on "Secularism and the Reality of Mary" during the month October to celebrate Rosary Month and honor the Blessed Virgin. Books are now in! Don't wait. Join us on the 1st Saturday of each month to pray for life and the respect of human dignity! Our next prayer morning will be on September 5th in church beginning with Adoration/confession at 8:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 9:30 a.m. and a Rosary after Mass.
