“We lift the community of Mineral Wells to God, asking Him to surround every person affected by the storms with His peace that calms all fear and His comfort that heals every hurting place. May God’s strength steady those who are rebuilding, His protection cover every family, and His hope rise even in the midst of loss. We pray that His loving presence fills Mineral Wells with restoration, unity, and renewed courage in the days ahead.” - Pastor Dennis C. Lewis

"Keep Watering in Dry Places"

Even in seasons of drought—spiritually, emotionally, or even relationally—God calls us to keep watering. Not because we see the increase, but because we trust God who gives it.
"So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase." — I Corinthians 3:7
We may be pouring into dry ground right now, it may seem. Praying over lost souls. Encouraging someone who’s weary. Serving when it feels unnoticed. God sees. God gives the increase.
Faithfulness in dry places is never wasted.
We have to keep watering. It says in Job 14:9: Yet through the scent of water it will bud, and bring forth boughs like a plant. God is faithful—the rain is going to come.

Anchored to the Anchor~
Women of the Word, stand firm. The same way the apostles were told not to speak in the name of Jesus (Acts 4:17–18; Acts 5:27–28), the world will try to quiet your voice, dim your fire, and silence your testimony. But like them, you carry a holy boldness that refuses to bow. “We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).

What God has spoken over you cannot be taken from you.
Hold fast to His promises (Revelation 3:11).
Hide His Word deep within your heart (Psalm 119:11).
Bind it to your life and let it guide your steps (Deuteronomy 6:6–9).

You are a woman anchored in truth, strengthened by the Word, and empowered by His name. You walk with poise and humility, clothed in integrity before the Lord, not "prideful", not "unloving," but bearing the fruit of a gentle and quiet spirit (1 Peter 3:4). Let your outward beauty speak, but let your inward character shine even brighter.

Women of the Word, let nothing silence what God has ignited in you~ Amen
