Hands and Feet Outreach Church has a very different vision and mindset than most typical churches... We are a church without walls!! Instead of bringing those who are scattered and weary to church; such as the elderly, widows, those who are sick or at children's hospitals, those with disabilities, those who are homeless, foster care kids, etc., our visi
on is to bring a weekly church service to them!! As a result, we do just that! We are not just a church that does outreaches (although we do outreaches on a monthly basis) but the church service itself is an outreach!!! For years, many of us as Christians would go evangelizing, partake in outreaches, and build relationships with those in our community and then try our best to provide a way for those interested to come to church. We felt this was a very loving and Christ like endeavor, but it proved to be very difficult for a myriad of reasons. Sometimes the homeless would not feel welcome or comfortable in the service, or the elderly did not feel comfortable due to transportation issues, or the foster care kids needed every driver and person involved to be cleared and finger printed, or those with disabilities would find it difficult to be in the church service, or those who are sick or at the children's hospital would have a very difficult time having the energy for such an outing, and the list goes on and on. So, a group of Christians decided to simply have a weekly church service on different days of the week at the homeless shelter, at the retirement facility, at the foster care group homes, and at the hospitals!! This has proven to be an extremely fruitful ministry and God has been at the center of it all!! Our outreach church service is not only a blessing to those who are scattered and weary, but is also a great way for Christians in the community to come be a part and begin to build relationships with the congregation as well!! By God's grace, many Christians and local churches are working together in unity with Hands and Feet Outreach Church to bring hope, forgiveness, fellowship, restoration, and the power of Jesus' love to flood the hearts of those who are scattered and weary in our own neighborhood. We believe the entire ministry of Jesus was an outreach as He left Heaven to come to serve others and even give His life as a ransom for many... we desire to do the same by being an extension of His heart, hands, and feet! Hands and Feet Outreach Church is incorporated with the state of California as a non-denominational church and is 501(c)3 compliant.
