I will just be very blunt. The argument that the word "rapture" is no where in the Bible, therefore there is no such thing, is rather stupid. It comes from a Latin word, so unless one has a Latin Bible, of course it is not in it. The word that was translated from the Latin, and then to the Greek is then translated into English as "shall be caught up..."

1 Thessalonians 4:17
"deinde nos qui vivimus qui relinquimur simul RAPIEMUR cm illis in nubibus obviam Domino in aera et sic semper cm Domino erimus."

"Then we which are alive and remain SHALL BE CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Ephesians 6:12 KJV
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

I seldom see or hear this verse used In it’s proper context. When it Is referenced, it is usually to imply something like people are not responsible for their evil, but rather those higher powers. However, Paul’s purpose is clearly to warn us that the battle is much more serious then we could ever imagine.

Read the passage and you will see that the real focus has little to do with the flesh and blood refference.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. [11] Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
