🕊️ PRAYER ALERT: STANDING IN THE GAP FOR CAPE VERDE 🇨🇻
Army of God, rise up in intercession. Our hearts are heavy as we look to the nation of Cape Verde, specifically Fogo Island, which has been plunged into unimaginable grief.
A devastating bus accident has claimed the lives of at least 25 people—most of them precious children, teenagers, and young adolescents returning from an excursion.
As the Woman of God community and the Army Rising, we do not sit back in silence when the world hurts. We take our place on the wall as watchmen and intercessors. Let us join our faith together and decree the peace of God over every broken heart.

Heavenly Father, Almighty God,
We come before You today as a united front, an Army Rising, lifting up the beautiful nation of Cape Verde in their darkest hour.
Lord, our hearts break for the families on Fogo Island who are experiencing a catastrophe that words cannot fully describe.
We cry out for the mothers, fathers, siblings, and friends who are facing the agonizing pain of saying goodbye to their precious children and teenagers and for those who are holding on for dear life.

Lord, let the people of Cape Verde feel the tangible weight of global prayers today. Remind them that they are not alone. Wrap this nation in Your mercy, and let Your church rise up to be the hands and feet of comfort.
