COMPANIONS OF CARLOS AND CHIARA:

We started the summer with 14 and ended with 15! Thank you to these amazing teens that came all summer long and encountered Christ where they could! Thank you to Janie, Nathan and Paul for cooking breakfast!

Thank you to our seniors who graduated! St. Jude needs you back! Thank you for coming!!

The teens wrote letters to Jesus and left it at the foot of the tabernacle. May their desires be lifted up to Jesus and have a wonderful school year!

May the Blessed Mother wrap them in her loving mantle, and may the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen them each day this school year. Amen.

You’re invited to kick off a brand-new year of faith, friendship, and fun at St. Jude! Whether you’re registering for Faith Formation or simply joining us to celebrate the start of an exciting year, we’d love to see you there.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of water games, fellowship, and refreshments as we come together as a parish community. Don’t forget your towel and water guns—we’re ready to make a splash!

As we begin this new journey of growing in faith, let us remember the words of Jesus:

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Today the catechists gathered to spend the morning in prayer, reflection, and fellowship as they embraced their vocation to serve. Together they reflected on the mission, the call to evangelize, and the importance of nurturing their own spirituality so that they may better lead others to Christ.

As they shared their thoughts and experiences, they opened their hearts to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, trusting Him to strengthen and renew them for the year ahead. May He continue to inspire their words, their witness, and their love for all those they are called to teach.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

May it be a beautiful reflection of your catechists’ calling and mission.

YOUTH SESSION TODAY!

The youth had a skittle scavenger hunt today! The treasure was Rice Krispie treats! Challenging the young people with the gospel, to leave earthly things behind to draw closer to the Lord. The teens selected one thing they will be giving up this week to try and be closer to Jesus. Everything from better attitudes with their parents to giving up soda for Jesus. Way to go St. Jude teens!!!

With hearts full of gratitude, we thank every worker, volunteer, band, vendor, and every person who came out to support the St. Jude Jamaica today. Your generosity, hard work, joyful spirit, and fellowship made this day truly special. We also lift up a prayer for the drummer from the Jaime DeAnda band, asking God to bless him with healing and a full recovery from his illness.

A special thank you to everyone who attended and celebrated with us. Seeing our parish family and community gathered together in faith, laughter, and friendship was a beautiful reminder of God’s goodness.

Most of all, we give all glory and praise to God for blessing us with beautiful weather, safe travels, and a day filled with joy, fellowship, and countless blessings.

Thank you for making the St. Jude Jamaica a wonderful success. May God bless each and every one of you abundantly!
