When it comes to reading, teaching or preaching the Bible, it’s vital that we interpret the Scriptures with clarity and integrity. Clarity comes from correctly using the tools of hermeneutics (principles of interpretation); integrity comes from using those tools intentionally and consistently.
Rightly interpreting Scripture has always been vital, but never more essential in our world than right now. Our world is in crisis, and spiritual kingdoms expand and contract in such times. What this means is that, in this crisis, some hearts are opening to the truth about Jesus Christ, and other powers are taking the opportunity to spread deception. For us to be salt and light right now, we must share the truth of the Bible, and we must do so with clarity and integrity.
No book can instantly make you a good interpreter of Scripture, but I hope that my little book (82 pages, plus indices) can get you started. The title is Polishing Our Hermeneutical Glasses, and it’s available free of charge as an interactive PDF file here:

I think that if you peruse the table of contents on page iii, one section or another will pique your interest. While viewing the book on screen, just click on a table-of-contents entry, and it will take you directly to that section.
