Pride colors and the Hand of Fatima, a protection symbol, are fine with us. Many cultures use it, it is not solely a pagan symbol.

A student said she created the piece to make kids “feel welcome.” Some parents in Grant, Michigan, wanted the painting removed.

This year regarding Imbolc I've been thinking about the tradition of sacrifice . Not in the "I've got to spill the blood of this animal to implore or appease the gods" kind of sacrifice per se but how that tradition is still alive in me. That we have to give up something sometimes to usher in something else. At Imbolc, what are we willing to sacrifice for our own next harvest? For a better harvest for the community?
