A Cleansing Prayer
Lord God, we need you to create in us a new heart and renew the right spirit within us. pick us up where we’ve been torn down. clean us up again, clean our minds, our hearts, our bodies, our souls, and our thought patterns, renew our minds and bind the evil spirits that try to steal our souls, and turn our morning into laughter, and wipe away our tears. turn our gray skies into blue skies, our cloudy days into sunny ones, and help others to see you in our lives again. straighten out our crooked roads and help us to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from all evil. lead us and guide us, restore the broken hearted and restore it again, bind and rebuke the devour, for you have not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind, restore us again for you have given us more than second chances over and over again, help us not to keep falling short of your glory, given into temptation. help us to show the love you have bestowed in us, so that your people would be able to see your good works and glorify and praise your holy name again, in Jesus's name, amen!
