We’re looking forward to worshiping together tomorrow at Hillview!

Join us for Morning Worship at 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM, and come back tomorrow evening for Growth Groups at 5:00 PM.

This Sunday, we’ll continue our study through Proverbs as we gather around God’s Word together. It’s also Baptism Sunday, and we’re excited to celebrate with those taking this important step of obedience and publicly identifying with Jesus Christ.

Tomorrow night also marks the beginning of a brand-new season of Growth Groups — a great opportunity to build relationships, study God’s Word, pray together, and grow alongside others in our church family.

Trials will come. Tests will come. Temptations will come.

But the Christian life does not have to be controlled by what comes our way. When we are grounded in God’s Word, we can remain “stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.”

Build your life on truth that does not change.

One of the oldest lies Satan tells is that there is something better than what God has provided.

That lie began in Eden, and it is still being believed today. The world constantly promises more happiness, more freedom, and more satisfaction outside of God’s will—but true joy is found in trusting the One who created us.

Don’t trade what God has given you for what the world says you’re missing. God’s way is always better.

Yesterday, our church family shared a sacred moment together around the Lord’s Table.

In the middle of busy schedules, responsibilities, burdens, and everything that fills our lives, Communion brought us back to the center: Jesus Christ and what He has done for us.

The bread and the cup reminded us that our faith rests on a finished work. Our forgiveness was purchased. Our salvation was secured.
Our hope was made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

There is something powerful about an entire church family stopping together to remember the same Savior, celebrate the same Gospel, and confess the same hope.

Communion also reminds us that the story isn’t finished.
Christ died.
Christ rose.
Christ is coming again.

We left the Lord’s Table yesterday grateful for the cross, strengthened by His grace, and looking forward to the day when faith becomes sight.

What a gift to belong to Christ—and what a privilege to walk together as His church.

If Jesus asked you to do something—better yet, if Jesus commanded you to do something—would you do it?

The answer seems obvious: Of course we would.

Tomorrow, as the church gathers, we will obey one of Christ’s clear commands: to observe the Lord’s Supper.

Jesus said, “This do in remembrance of me.”

At 9:00 and 10:30 AM, we will gather around the Lord’s Table to look back and remember Christ’s sacrifice for us, to look within and examine our own hearts, to look around and encourage one another as the body of Christ, and to look ahead as we anticipate the return of our Savior.

Communion is more than a tradition or simply another part of the service. It is an act of obedience given by Christ to His church and a sacred opportunity for us to remember the Gospel together as we “shew the Lord’s death till he come.”

We hope you’ll be with your church family tomorrow as we worship Christ and gather around His Table.

Rebellion against God’s Word costs you His blessing. Obedience brings life—not necessarily an easy life, but a blessed one. True wisdom isn’t about avoiding all trials; it’s about experiencing God’s favor through listening to His voice.

God’s Word isn’t just for emergencies. It is a faithful guide for every single day.
We shouldn’t wait until life falls apart to open our Bibles. God has given us His Word to guide us through the difficult days and the ordinary ones.
When you don’t know what decision to make, go to the Word. When temptation comes, remember the Word. When you’re discouraged, rest in the Word. When life is going well, stay grounded in the Word.
Let Scripture shape the way you think, the words you speak, the decisions you make, and the way you treat others.
At work, at home, in your marriage, in your parenting, and in your relationships, let God’s Word guide your steps.
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105
Don’t just keep your Bible nearby. Keep God’s Word in your heart.
The Word we treasure today will guide and protect us tomorrow.
