The Dane County Immunization Coalition and JP Hair Design are hosting a back to school vaccination event at Alliant Energy Center on Sunday, August 23 from 10-4 pm. The first 80 kids get a new pair of shoes– plus, there’s free haircuts!

🌽Sweet Corn Festival Traffic Update! 🚗

To help with traffic flow to and from the festival grounds, construction has been halted and both directions of Main Street are temporarily open today through Sunday. As always, please drive with care, expect increased traffic and pedestrian activity, and allow a little extra time to get where you’re going during this busy weekend. Thanks for your patience and help keeping everyone moving safely!

Hi friends, it's time for another shopping bag round-up!

Our Sunshine Pantry program needs more bags for pantry shoppers to use for their groceries. Plastic bags are preferred, but we will take paper or cloth ones too. Here's how you can help:

đź’™ If you are a pantry shopper, please gather the bags you have collected and bring them back to the pantry to donate at your next visit.
đź’› If you or your workplace have an excess of sturdy grocery bags, please consider donating them to the pantry.

Bags can be dropped off at 18 Rickel Rd., Sun Prairie, either in the Sunshine Resource Lobby during open hours (M/TU/W/TH/F 9 AM – 3 PM), or in the blue donation barrel out front any time!

As we get ready, we want to remind everyone that parade safety is a shared responsibility. Keep these important safety tips in mind before securing your spot. Staying alert, supervising children, and using caution around moving floats and vehicles will help ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable time kicking off the festivities!

Love Dane projects officially kicked off this past weekend with our first projects happening at Yahara Elementary School in Deforest. This week there are projects happening at Glen Stephens Elementary in Madison and Country View Elementary in Verona. There is still plenty of time to sign up!
