Bahá'ís of Dorchester County

Bahá'ís of Dorchester County Contact us know if you would like to join a Bahá'í Inspired Study Group for discussing moral, and spiritual values. What is a Study Circle? What does it cost?

Where together we all gain the knowledge, spiritual insights and the skills to enable us to contribute to the betterment of society. A study circle begins whenever two or more individuals are ready to engage in the study of one of the courses of the Ruhi Institute. Participants in the study circle are led by a tutor whose role is not to act as an expert but as a facilitator. Participants in study

circles are active participants in their own learning process. What is a Children's Class? Bahá'í Children's Classes are based on the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh, the founder of the Bahá'í Faith. They contribute to the awakening and development of the spiritual nature of children through the development of spiritual attributes or virtues common to all the world's major religions, as well as the knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes required to love and serve humanity. Subject to parental approval, Bahá'í Children's Classes are open to and suitable for all children regardless of their cultural or religious background. No money is ever asked to be donated or contributed.

O friends! Be not careless of the virtues with which ye have been endowed, neither be neglectful of your high destiny. Suffer not your labors to be wasted through the vain imaginations which certain hearts have devised. Ye are the stars of the heaven of understanding, the breeze that stirreth at the break of day, the soft-flowing waters upon which must depend the very life of all men, the letters inscribed upon His sacred scroll. -Bahá’u’lláh
