Yes, life can be messy, but it can also be a message that God wants us to understand. If there are certain patterns in our family or our lives, there’s a reason for them. Like a pile of puzzle pieces, there is potential for a beautiful masterpiece even when we can’t see it. Until we let The Creator organize the pieces, things will feel out of place or disconnected. But when we reconnect with Our Father, He arranges His masterpiece. Let Him into your life and allow Him to love, heal, and restore you.

Jesus became sin so we could forever be free from sin, through Him. He willingly exchanged the guilt and shame of our sins for His complete innocence. Jesus received our death, so we could receive His life.

We see so many who are hurting or mourning or turning to the wrong things to seek a way to make things “right”. When we’re already in pain (physically, mentally, or emotionally) and we go in those different directions, we always end up at similar dead ends. We’ve been where you are and have the scars to prove it. Please reconsider. Our own “logic” cannot give us the remedy we seek in this world we see around us.

To receive love, give love.
To be shown grace, show grace.
To be forgiven, forgive.
To receive light in the darkness, give the light you have left to someone who needs it more.
To gain everything we could ever need in the present and future, we must lose everything we’ve held onto in the past.
To save ourselves from the bad created around us, we must lose ourselves to The Creator of all that is good.
The life that we yield to the love of Jesus,
is a life that will be filled with the love of Jesus.

In love, I just want to remind our friends that in this season of fasting and prayer, Jesus has some guidelines for us in Matthew Chapter 6.

Jesus In The Flesh

One aspect about Jesus walking our Earth in the flesh often gets overlooked. Jesus didn’t just take on the look of man to establish common ground or just to show us that He could live among mankind. It had another purpose. He inhabited human form for the protection of any humans who would interact directly with Him, just as when Moses was hidden in the cleft of the rock and covered by God’s hand and the Ark of the Covenant was constructed and covered by the Mercy Seat. Because Jesus was not only the Son, but also the Father and the Holy Spirit in human form, the flesh was to protect those He encountered from the supernatural power, glory, and radiance of God. Evidence of this also occurs during Jesus’ transfiguration within Matthew 17, Mark 9, and Luke 9, as well as in Acts 9, when Saul of Tarsus is confronted by Jesus on the road to Damascus. That same power to change everything and desire to be in relationship with us still exists today.

When we try to put ourselves back together after being broken by the losses of this life, we will always fall short. We will never be able to do so as Our Creator originally did. Our brokenness can only be healed when we have faith in Him. We must trust in Our Father who loves us to mend us and make us whole again.

One major step toward healing is realizing that we are, and have always been, beloved by Our Father and He has always wanted a loving relationship with us. Even when we’ve turned from Him, He has always been with us. Even in our darkest times, He has always been with us. Even when we were broken and bruised, He has always been with us. Even when we fail and fall, He has always been with us. He is wrapped around us closer than our own skin. He is within every breath we breathe.

The idea of a distant, alienated Father is a lie. Our Father has never left us, nor forsaken us. Even when we allow sin to overcome us, He is still surrounding us to love and protect us from ourselves. He so loves us that He gave us freewill to ignore Him if we so choose. Yet, even when we do, He never leaves us. Just as we have the ability to overlook or ignore our own breathing until we make the conscious decision to feel our inhale and exhale, we can choose when we recognize His presence, though He’s been there all along.

When the enemy attempts to isolate us and make us feel unwanted, unworthy, or unloved, we can, just as Christ did while in the wilderness, proclaim that Our Father has all authority. His Word tells us that He will never leave us, nor forsake us and He came to us, not to condemn us, but to save us. His love endures forever.

Hey, y’all, especially Uncommon & 9941 friends and family! For those who were curious, I haven’t posted or preached much in a while due to a car accident and injuries, two consecutive surgeries and months of physical therapy, and multiple health issues. However, Morgan and I have continued in prayer while trying to help others in our community whenever we can and we are still walking in what God has called us to.
I also don’t know how many were interested in the videos or ministry we’ve done before, but just know that before anything was ever said, done, sung, or recorded; everything was prayed about, written/rewritten, edited, and researched thoroughly to make sure that it was honest and helpful. Sometimes the subjects were deep and uncomfortable, sometimes they were uplifting and encouraging, but I’ve always tried to keep things relevant and real and help others through God’s Word and through the wisdom gained by my own life experiences, both good and bad.
That being said, through it all I’ve continued writing, studying, praying, and working on new material and also buying new equipment for our ministry, for videos and podcasts, and for recording music.
So, our ministry will continue. Pray for us. Stay tuned. Stay Uncommon.

Life is far too short and flowers wilt way too quickly. Let us have the strength and courage to give “flowers” to our friends and family while they’re still here to hear it. Let’s be light and speak life. There’s far too much darkness and death in our world. We can change that with just a few simple words and deeds. Love y’all and God bless y’all. Have a great week.

One of the first and most important steps in changing the direction of our lives is radical forgiveness. The change in our lives will always be in direct proportion to the forgiveness we give to others. No matter what they did to harm us and no matter what they took from us, we cannot allow them to take more from us by causing us to be bitter, unforgiving, angry, depressed, fearful, isolated, or become like the offender who wronged us. Just like Jesus had radical forgiveness while on the cross, we must see the “big picture” and allow ourselves to forgive, no matter how grievous the offense. When we do this, it isn’t to set the offender free, it is to set ourselves free. The offender has sown and will reap, but we will be free to live as God intended and not as a prisoner of our own grudges or anger. Break free from your chains by giving radical forgiveness.
