A Prayer for Pentecost

"Lord, send the gift of Your Spirit to fill this place
and myself
and the world.
Touch me with truth that burns like fire,
with beauty that moves me like the wind;
and set me free, Lord,
free to try new ways of living,
free to forgive myself and others;
free to love and laugh and sing;
free to lay aside the burden of my insecurity;
free to join the battle for peace and justice;
free to see and listen and wonder again
at the gracious mystery of things and persons'
free to be,
to give,
to receive,
to rejoice as a child of your Spirit.

And Lord, teach me how to dance, to turn around,
and come down where I want to be,
in the arms and heart of your people,
and in You,
that I may praise and enjoy Your forever.
Amen.

Come on down to the old Sugar Grove Elementary school grounds tomorrow for the Sugar Grove Cruise-In, rain or shine! 😁 We're excited to get the community together, and proceeds benefit the SGVFD & Blue Star Mothers of Warren County.

Thanks for the donation to our Food Pantry, Princess Miranda! 😁

We are proud to share that we raised $3500.00 for the Fill a Glass with Hope! An we donated the funds to the local food pantry to help provide milk to families throughout Warren County. This contribution will help ensure that children and families have access to a nutritious staple that is often difficult for food pantries to keep stocked. We are grateful for everyone who supported this effort and helped make a positive impact in our community. We can’t wait to start this again so keep a look out where we will be throughout the community.
