28 bears + 4 very special shirts are heading out today. 🧸📦🤍

Today, 28 Barrett’s Bears will begin their journey to families who are walking through an unimaginable loss. Each bear has been prayed over, prepared with love, and will soon be in the arms of a family we hope feels just a little less alone and are surrounded by a peace that surpasses our understanding—only Jesus. 🩷🩵

Along with our bears, 4 personalized shirts are also being mailed to families who left the hospital without their child.

These shirts are part of our partnership with Rachel's Gift, a nonprofit that partners with hospitals to provide comfort and support to families experiencing infant loss. Their families receive a weighted bear, and Barrett’s Bears has the honor of providing personalized shirts made especially for those bears—bearing the names of babies who are forever loved and remembered. 🤍

32 babies. 32 families. 32 names that matter.

32 reminders that their babies were a part of them, they are loved, and they will never be forgotten.

This is why we do what we do. Every ribbon tied, every shirt made, every tag attached, every box packed—it all carries a little piece of our heart and a whole lot of prayer. 🧸🌈

A LITTLE BEAR UPDATE 🧸🤍

We have NOT forgotten about you! If you’re waiting on a Barrett’s Bear, please know that your bear is coming. 🧸🤍

Our bears are going out a little behind schedule right now, and we want to ask for your patience and grace as we work to get each one mailed as soon as we possibly can. We sincerely apologize for the slight delay.

With school starting and everyone adjusting to new schedules and routines, things have been a little busier than usual. We also have some new and exciting projects in the works for Barrett’s Bears, and we are so excited about what is ahead for this ministry! 🤍

Please know that every bear is still being prepared with the same love, care, and purpose. We haven’t forgotten you, and we haven’t forgotten your little one. 🩷🧸💙

Thank you for giving us a little extra grace and patience as we get caught up. We are so incredibly grateful for your understanding and for allowing us the honor of sending these little bears of comfort to your families.

✨This week, another group of Barrett’s Bears is beginning their journey to families who need a little extra comfort during unimaginable loss. Each bear is lovingly prepared with the hope of bringing a small reminder that their precious baby will always be remembered and that they are not alone. Our babies are so loved. Jesus died and defeated the grave for them. For us.

🤍 We’re also honored to have mailed five personalized teddy shirts to recipients through Rachel's Gift, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Through this meaningful partnership, Barrett’s Bears provides personalized shirts for their weighted memory bears, aiming to ease Empty Arms Syndrome when parents have to leave the hospital without their love. 24 Bears and 8 teddy shirts receiving Rachel’s Gift boxes were mailed this morning to families. 💙🐻

In addition to our long time partnership with Julianna Grace Ministry— who provide bereavement baskets filled with comfort items including a Barrett’s Bear— Barrett’s Bears has also recently partnered with Rachel’s Gift to provide teddy shirts for their angel bears.

Rachel’s Gift is a nonprofit organization that partners with hospitals to provide specialized bereavement care for families experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Through support groups, follow-up care, and keepsake boxes, they have served thousands of families across the country and currently collaborate with 11 hospitals.

These Barrett’s Bears shirts personalized with their baby’s name will now be sent for the bears placed inside their keepsake boxes for grieving families. What an honor it is to help remind these parents that their precious babies are never forgotten. 🤍

Please join us in praying for every family receiving one of these bears. We pray they feel the love of Christ in the middle of unimaginable grief and are reminded that their sweet baby is safe in the arms of Jesus. ✝️
