Lectio Divina
We read.
We meditate.
We listen.
We respond.
We rest in God.
Lectio Divina is not simply reading Scripture—it is allowing the Word of God to enter the heart.
In Carmel, we approach Scripture prayerfully, slowly, and attentively. We do not rush through God’s Word. We sit with it. We listen. We allow Him to speak.
📖 The traditional steps of Lectio Divina:
• Read — Slowly read a short passage of Scripture
• Meditate — Reflect on what God is saying to you
• Pray — Respond to Him from the heart
• Contemplate — Rest quietly in His presence
• Act — Carry His Word into daily life
The goal is not information—
but transformation. 🤍
