Longtime friends and Arkansas natives, Donna and Freida, know the secret to spending time with g
ood friends – in the kitchen. When they searched for a business together, the ability to create customized baking pans was a logical choice.
“We saw many opportunities to market this practical concept,” says Donna. “Some of our first ventures were into fundraising through schools and churches. “People have their signature recipes, so why not serve them in a pan that also shows the signature, literally?” Other events that prove to be popular outlets include family reunions, pot luck exchanges and weddings. Enduring popular designs include crosses and hearts, but Donna and Freida can create new ones that reflect the baker’s style.
“We offer many colors and both 9” x 13” and 9” x 9” sized pans. Proudly made in America, these Nordic Ware pans have a reputation and guarantee of quality for a lifetime of use. Although they started attending Canton in 1985, Donna and Freida have been customizing pans at Canton’s First Monday Trade Days since 1995.
“We have a great time – it’s always a ‘girl weekend’ when we come out to Canton; we can combine business and fun, and introduce other family’s to our unique products,” says Donna.
