Reformark exists to empower everyday believers in all areas of life right here in the Shenandoah Valley, so that we can look back in 40 years at a valley that has been transformed for the glory of Christ.

Premieres TODAY at 5 PM.

What does the Bible actually say about s*x in marriage?

In this conversation with Dr. Keith Goad, we get into questions Christians often think about but rarely talk about openly:

• How often should married couples have s*x?
• Can a spouse biblically refuse s*x?
• What does “one flesh” actually mean?
• Is s*x only for procreation?
• What does Paul mean when he says your body is not your own?
• What should you do when one spouse wants more s*x than the other?
• Why are some Christian marriages becoming s*xless?

This is a direct, practical conversation about a subject the church needs to address biblically.

Healthy churches don’t happen by accident.

That’s why Reformark and Pillar are bringing Feed the Flock to Charlottesville, Virginia on May 14–15, 2027.

This two-day conference is built around the ordinary things that make local churches strong: biblical membership, church planting, congregational singing, faithful deacons, biblical church culture, Christian joy, worship, fellowship, and practical Q&A.

We’ll be joined by:

Matt Smethurst
Keith Foskey
Sean DeMars
Keith Goad
Lance English
K.J. Washington

with music led by Luke Hill.

And this is not just for pastors. Feed the Flock is for church leaders, ministry volunteers, and everyday Christians who want to better understand and serve the local church.

Your ticket includes two days of teaching, two meals, worship, three Q&A sessions, giveaways, and access to the exhibit hall.

Right now, Super Early Bird tickets are only $100 through November 13. After that, the price goes up. (All proceeds go towards recouping the costs that Reformark accrues for the conference and for the ministry all year. If you can't afford a ticket, please email me at [email protected].)

If you love the local church and want to see it become healthier, more biblical, and more faithful, we would love to have you there.

Something we’ve started doing at Reformark is partnering with scholars to write articles on important topics facing the local church.

But we don’t want those articles to live only on a page.

After many of these scholars write for us, they’ll come into the Reformark studio to sit down with Corey Colvin and unpack the article on a practical level, explaining the ideas clearly and helping Christians understand how they apply to the everyday life of the church.

Our first article and podcast episode following this model are coming next week.

And we’re starting with a topic that many people would rather avoid, but one the church needs to talk about.

Dr. Keith Goad has written on the epidemic of s*xless marriages within Christianity and what pastors, husbands, and wives need to understand about it.

Dr. Rothrock's critique of Joe Rigney's "The Sin of Empathy" is now live. Go check it out! We plan to post Dr. Rigney's response tomorrow. Lord willing.

Christian counsel requires empathy to understand the heart before applying truth. Learn why empathy is an incarnational discipline, not a moral surrender.

We have a really interesting exchange coming to Reformark.

Sam Rothrock, a PhD counselor, wrote a friendly critique of Joe Rigney's "The Sin of Empathy". Joe read it and wrote a response.

We’ll be publishing both articles soon.

It’s a thoughtful back-and-forth on empathy, counseling, and Christian love, and I think a lot of people are going to find it helpful.

If you want to be notified when they go live, sign up for the Reformark newsletter at our website in the comments.

We're going to start posting daily about Reformark so you can understand why we exist, our mission, and what we do with each passing day...

Day 1:

Serious theology shouldn’t belong only to seminaries.

Reformark exists to help ordinary Christians think deeply about God, Scripture, culture, and the church—without watering anything down.

Serious theology for ordinary Christians.
