🌟 As many of you know, the MHA Community Center is getting closer to becoming a reality, Alhamdulillah.

One of our goals and future programs is to launch a Youth Development Class designed to help young adults build skills, gain confidence, prepare for the future, and become more engaged in our community.

Topics may include:
• Building a resume
• Finding a job
• Interview skills
• College and career readiness
• Leadership and public speaking
• Entrepreneurship
• Networking and personal development

Before we get started, we want to hear from our youth.

What would you like to learn? What challenges are you facing? What would make you want to attend?

Parents, please encourage your sons and daughters to reach out and get involved. We would love to connect with them and hear their ideas.

Places of worship should be places of peace, prayer, and safety; never scenes of violence.

Today, we remember Amin Abdullah, Mansour Kaziha, and Nader Awad, three men who lost their lives while helping protect and save others during the tragic shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego.

They were fathers, brothers, friends, and pillars in their community. Their courage, selflessness, and humanity in their final moments will never be forgotten.

May Allah SWT grant them the highest levels of Jannah, bring strength and patience to their families, and protect our communities from hate and division.

Alhamdulillah One Generous Family has stepped forward to Sponsor and help prepare the Musalla/prayer room at the MHA Center, InchaAllah.

They will be providing prayer rugs, mushafs/Qurans, shoe racks, and everything needed to help create a welcoming space for prayer and reflection.
