NEVERTHELESS, THE SOLID FOUNDATION OF GOD STANDS

1. The solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
[Iniquity translated here from Greek word “adikia” means impropriety, iniquity, unrighteousness, wickedness. This wickedness or unrighteousness, is seen more particularly in the neglect of the true God and His laws and in an adherence to the world or to idolatry; hence, “adikia” may mean impiety, ungodliness, contempt of God. - New Testament Dictionary]
2 Timothy 2:19; 1 Corinthians 3:10-15; Matthew 24:24; John 10:14, 27

2. In a great house, as in the house of God, there are vessels of honor and dishonor. Those who cleanse themselves from dishonorable things, departing from iniquity will become a vessel for honor, sanctified (set apart) and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.

2 Timothy 2:20-21; Matthew 21:12-14; 1 John 1:8-9, Luke 17:3-4

3. Flee youthful lusts; pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2 Timothy 2:22; 1 Corinthians 15:33-34

4. Avoid foolish and ignorant disputes that lead to strife. In humility, correct those who are in opposition.

2 Timothy 2:23-26, 1 Corinthians 5:6-8

Memory verses: 2 Timothy 2:19- 22
19 Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.
21 Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

1. Don’t think that it is strange when some fiery trial comes to try you as though some strange thing happened to you. Count it all joy when you are in various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. Ask Father, God for His wisdom to know what to do, how to do it, and when to do it.

1 Peter 4:12-13; James 1:2-8

2. Don’t get frustrated or fearful it won’t help. God knows that you don’t know what to do that’s why you asked Him. He will strengthen you, He will help you, and uphold you with His righteousness right hand. Don’t heed ungodly thoughts or ungodly counsel.

Isaiah 41:10; James 1:19-20

[Righteousness in Isaiah 41:10 is translated from Hebrew word “tsedeq”. A masculine noun meaning a right relation to an ethical or legal standard. ] Source: Old Testament Dictionary

3. All things work out together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose as you lay down your life, surrender all by giving Him everything praying in the tongues allowing the Holy Spirit to pray through you and praying in your known language.

Romans 8:26-28, Hebrews 4:14-16; Philippians 4:4-7

4. Control your thoughts by focusing on things of the Kingdom of God which edify you and coming to Jesus through His Word to learn from Him which renews your mind.

Philippians 4:8; Matthew 11:28-30; Romans 12:2

Eyes To See Ears To Hear & A Heart To Understand Spiritually

August 13, 2025

Ministered by Pastor Pricellious J. Burruss

1. Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables because they rejected Him and His words being that they had hardened unrepentant hearts. Jesus explained the parables to His disciples because they didn’t reject Him or His words.

Matthew 13:10-17; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4

2. If born again believers reject Jesus’s words having hardened unrepentant hearts it will hinder them from having eyes to see, ears to hear and a heart to understand. Therefore, they must repent and confess their sins of rejecting Jesus’s words and having a hardened heart.

Revelation 3:15-22, Proverbs 28:9,13; 1 John 1:8-9

3. Every born again believer should pray themselves and other believers for spiritual eyes to see, to hear and understand spiritual things.

Ephesians 1:15-23; Colossians 1:9-18

MEMORY VERSE: Colossians 1:9-12

9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.

JESUS WILL VOMIT LUKEWARM BELIEVERS OUT OF HIS MOUTH

Ministered by Pastor Pricellious J. Burruss
August 17, 2025

1. Jesus will vomit lukewarm believers out of His mouth because they live prideful, worldly lives independent from Him. Jesus says they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked.

Revelation 3:14-16

*The Greek word translated “angel” is “Aggelos” and it means- a messenger; especially an “angel”; (by implication) a pastor:- angel, messenger. [Source:New Testament Dictionary]

2. Lukewarm believers live for pleasures on the earth, lacking discipline and filled with indulgences. Jesus tells believers to deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him.

James 5:1-5; Matthew 16:24-27

3. Lukewarm believers out of their desire for worldly pleasures are filled with lust, covetousness, murder, pride and strife. Their friendship with the world causes them to be at war with God.

James 4:1-6

4. Lukewarm believers are being called to repent, and “buy” from Jesus gold tried in the fire by repenting, drawing closer to Him, becoming dependent upon Him and paying the price be tried, purified and refined in the fire. Jesus wants believers to reflect His image in the earth of holiness, righteousness, love and dominion. He wants lukewarm believers to be anointed by Him to have spiritual eyes to see, ears to hear, a heart to understand and do spiritual things and be rewarded by Him.

James 4:7-10; Revelation 3:17-22

Reminder: We Were Created For God, God Was Not Created For Us
August 10, 2025
Ministered by Pastor Pricellious J. Burruss

REMINDER: WE WERE CREATED FOR GOD, GOD WAS NOT CREATED FOR US

1. The days of our lives that God had planned for us were all written in one of His books while we were still in our mother’s womb before we had any days.

Psalms 139:13-16; Jeremiah 1:5-10, 18:1-6

2. God created us, human beings, in His likeness and image to have dominion in the earth. Through the sin of Adam and Eve that dominion was taken by Satan. Jesus’s earthly ministry as the last Adam, fully God while fully man yet sinless, He took back the dominion over the earth giving it to born again believers in His death, burial and resurrection.

Genesis 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 15:20-22, 45-49

3. We as born again believer’s in Jesus’s death, burial and resurrection are called to use our dominion being the salt of the earth giving flavor that influences whatever it is used on. We are called to be the light of the world, driving out darkness using the dominion over the earth we have been given letting the light of Christ shine through us influencing a culture through our good works so that they glorify our Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:13-16; Psalms 33:10-12

*These are the eight areas we are to dominate through Christ:

1. Religion
2. Family
3. Education
4. Government
5. Media
6. Arts/Sports/Entertainment
7. Business
8. Medicine

WITH CHRIST IN YOU

Ministered by Pastor Pricellious J. Burruss

Greek definition of Christ: “Christos”, from “chrio” anointed; i.e. the Messiah, a descriptive phrase expressing a quality characteristic of Jesus: - Christ.

1. With Christ in you, you have the hope of glory in you being saved and being presented to Him perfect through receiving the word of God preached warning you and taught in all wisdom.

Colossians 1:27-29; Romans 9:22-29
2. With Christ in you, you can do all things because Christ gives you the strength.

Philippians 4:11-13
3. With Christ in you, if you abide in Him and His words abide in you, you will ask what you desire and you will bear much fruit. Without Him you can do nothing.

John 15:1-8; 1 John 5:14-15

Memory Verse: Philippians 4:11-13
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content:
12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

GOD, THE FATHER

Ministered by Pastor Pricellious J. Burruss

1. God, the Father, knows that the way we were created we function best when we work, thereby, developing the skills He gave us to help others and provide for ourselves and families. He knows that we also function best when we have responsibilities to watch over and care for things and others.

Genesis 2:15

2. God, the Father, gives us commandments, which are written in the Holy Bible, of what we should and shouldn’t do knowing how we were created in His likeness and image for relationship with Him first and foremost.

Genesis 1:26-31, 2:16-17

3. God, the father, said it was not good for Adam to be alone with no humans to fellowship with being that he was the only human being on earth. God, the Father, enjoyed fellowship within Himself with the godhead, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit; three divine persons composing one God. The first human to human relationship that God instituted was marriage between one man and one woman; the two becoming one. Later, he instituted the family to fulfill His commandment that they be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and to reflect who He is as a Father.

Genesis 2:18 - 25, 4:1-2

4. God, the Father, instituted judgement and parental discipline on His creations once they sinned and did not repent.

Genesis 3:1-24

HOW TO BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST TO ENJOY THE BEST IN ANY SITUATION
Ministered by Pastor Pricellious J. Burruss
July 20, 2025

1. Prepare your hearts to seek and serve the Lord “only”, so that you will enjoy victory in battle. 2 Samuel 7:3-4
2. God has prepared a table before you so that you can feast and focus on what He has provided for you instead of your enemies who are in your presence. God anoints your head with oil, your cup runs over producing overflow blessings, goodness and mercy following you all the days of your life as you enjoy dwelling in the house of the Lord. Psalms 23:5-6
3. Prepare your financial income streams first before building your house and doing other things that don’t produce ongoing income. Proverbs 24:27
4. Prepare your food and other supplies in seasons when they are available to store up food, water, batteries, flash lights, etc. for emergencies and worse case scenarios. Proverbs 30:25, 27:12; Isaiah 26:20-21
