Have you ever wondered why nearly every Christian church seems to promote teachings that do not line up with the plain words of Scripture—including the church you attend? Are you certain that what you believe is actually what the Bible says, or are you relying on secondhand interpretations, traditions, and opinions you have heard over the years?

These studies invite you to examine God’s own words for yourself, without added commentary, denominational spin, or theological filters—just Scripture in its natural context. You are free to accept or reject what you read, but you will see exactly what God says about many popular doctrines and practices.

Some of the topics covered include:

Is Satan truly “the god of this world”?

Are Christians still bound by the Ten Commandments today, and were they in force before Moses gave them to Israel?

Sabbath vs. Sunday: which day does Scripture actually set apart?

What does the Bible really teach about the Lord’s Day?

What does Scripture say about Christmas, Easter, and other religious holidays?

Should believers observe Old Testament holy days and feasts—both in the spring and in the fall?

What does the Bible say about Halloween, the nature of the soul, and who is in heaven right now?

What does Scripture actually reveal about the rapture and eternal security (“once saved, always saved”)?

Is this the only day of salvation, and what does the Bible say about being gay, divorce, tithing, and “white lies”?

Why should anyone become a Christian, who is Jesus, and can He truly save you from hell?

You will also find additional material exposing ideas and traditions that Jesus and the Bible never taught, especially around common church doctrines and assumptions.

One study tackles a sobering question for those living in the United States: Is God currently judging America through major disasters because we refuse to believe what He clearly says in His Word? On the Bible studies page, there is a special link that explores this issue under the title “Is God’s Judgment on America Today?”—a must-read if you live in the USA.

Explore these Bible studies and see directly from Scripture what God actually says on these crucial subjects.

When something in the Bible is really important God repeats it twice. What is He warning Christians about from these two nearly identical verses in Revelation?
Rev 2:6 - “But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.“
Rev 2:15 - “Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.”
What is it that God hates so much He had it written twice so Christians fully understand? The “doctrine of the Nicolaitans” refers to church teachings that try to COMPROMISE with PAGAN CULTURE, making it seem acceptable for Christians.
It taught that, because Christians were under grace rather than the law, they were free to indulge in sinful actions without spiritual consequence. They are "Once Saved Always Saved" no matter what they do.
The Nicolaitans “deeds” and “doctrine” are explicitly said to be HATED by Christ. (Pretty strong word.) The question for Christians is this. Do you hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans which Christ hates? Does your church teach them?
Part of the primary focus of the Nicolaitan teaching that God has been warning Christians about since the early church is this. It encouraged participation in PAGAN FEASTS, (Christmas and Easter), instead of maintaining a clear break from IDOLATROUS WORSHIP (Sunday keeping in all churches, or praying to Mary and the Saints in others).
It turned Christian freedom and grace into license to sin, claiming believers were not really bound by Old Testament moral commands. (All 10 Commandments including the 4th).
It effectively told Christians they could have one foot in the church and one foot in the pagan world with no need for real separation.
The Nicolaitan outlook said, “You can follow Christ and still fully join in the false customs and traditions of the surrounding culture,” which directly contradicts apostolic teaching of compromising faith with pagan culture.
God warns against any "Christian" teaching that justifies idolatry, or cultural compromise, or turning grace into permission for sin. It’s something to think about.
