We are always trying to get something in and out of life. A lot of these things are mundane in nature; monetary are prestigious, carnal, or sensual, advantages, and self satisfying.
However; the Bible tells us that while we’re out there, trying to get it, we should get wisdom and gain understanding! Understanding helps you to know how what you’re pursuing should relate to you. It helps you to see why something is either good for you or not. Wisdom keeps you making sound decisions, avoiding pitfalls, and staying focused on who and what’s important. Beloved; wisdom is the principle thing! So get wisdom, and in all your getting, gain understanding! (Prov. 4:7)
