Honestly it was surreal.
Not only did I get to witness these two leaders earn a retreat this past weekend, but I got to see their courage.
It’s hard to face our own self limiting beliefs. Those ugly lies laced in our hearts. Seeds that were once planted that have grown into lies we not only believe, but we subconsciously act on. Relate? 👋
Breaking through those lies is what the 3 of us realize we GET TO DO. Acting on NEW BELIEFS about yourself is uncomfortable , and truth is non of us are enough…
Not enough? Yeah it’s true, but with God WE ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH. Breaking Thru isn’t easy, but with this community, He’s showed me it’s 💛💛💛

I’m not sure why I’m surprised at this story.
You get what you ask for right? Well sometimes, and sometimes you don’t. But what I find most of the time… is it’s BETTER THAN WHAT YOU ASKED FOR!
A person unnamed in this picture is 1 representation of this group, and many who aren’t pictured. You see… they are ALL DIFFERENCE MAKERS. Every. Single. Last. One. Of. Them.
This said person (like the rest of our team) has been working since January to make a difference she feels called to make. We are celebrating 🥳 her heart today b/c she just gave ALL of her 3 month earnings to 3 different organizations , to help sponsor kids without voices and choices into a christian home! My eyes teared up to see her heart ❤️ being so moved to serve and love behind the scenes in honor of our teams mission.
I don’t know why I’m surprised b/c after all we get what we ask for, or sometimes… ITS EVEN BETTER!!
Pray them into your life… keep shining bright!! You’ll make a bigger difference than you could ever imagine!!

Before we left I gently reminded him, “Don’t forget to pray a prayer of praise for His faithfulness.”
It was close day on our new home! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🥳🥳
Matt and I had a quick celebration lunch and the conversation quickly turned to the distractions leading up to that moment.
As he sighed I could see it would be easy for both of us to FORGET who made this possible in the first place.
In reading thru the scriptures this year I often see myself just like the Israelites. I forget Gods faithfulness, His provision and blessing. This worlds distractions can seem heavy then…
I can’t help but think just 1 day after the resurrection, did the disciples start to forget ? ✝️✝️ Were they too distracted from the joy and celebration of the GREATEST GIFT??
When our eyes glaze over, may we refocus and reset our gaze on WHO delivered us in the first place! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

The purpose of life is to give it away.
Serving and loving people IS OUR PURPOSE.
Watching them rise into the gifts God has for them, and watching them realize their purpose… THATS THE BEST PART!!
My biggest regret? It would be if someone met me at the pearly gates and asked… “why did you never tell me who HE was?”
My prayer… no one questions WHO I have that sets me apart, and that they KNOW I’m ready to share THE BEST GIFT 👆🏻✝️ above ANYTHING ELSE.

It’s new territory but y’all… it’s so beautiful!🙌🏻
New territory to say the least, is working from a place of accepted and mission.

What changed the game for me? For this this was everything. Learning to work from a place accepted by Him and focusing on a mission bigger than me, to glorify Him, is the sweetest spot I’ve ever been in!
Yes He made me to love work, but He did not make me to work from a place of not enough, He made me work from a place of already been accepted ! When I crossed over from a place of working because I needed to earn love, the accolades, the titles, all the things, into a place of working for Him, because He already loves me, it changed everything for me!
Ask me all the questions, it’s definitely not a perfect journey, but it’s definitely turned into a peaceful one!

I told him no.
Currently sitting at my kitchen island taking deep breathes, thinking back a few weeks ago to this.
Reality?? This has been the BUSIEST season I can remember. Frankly at times I’ve felt like I’m drinking from a fire hose! Relate? 👋👋👋
The real of it is we’ve moved, I’ve been out of the country, 2 kiddos in sports (one about 7 days a week), and my head has been spinning.
What’s crazy?? This is one of the most BLESSED TIMES OF OUR LIFE TOO! 8 years of dreams and vision to move to ROOTED FARMS has become a REALITY, and ya know what the enemy loves to do?? STEAL YOUR JOY!
He’s tried, and I said NO!
All glory honor and praise goes to God during this beautifully blessed season. Only HE can take us from brutal to beautiful, and He’s getting all the glory for this new season 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I sat down and really reflected what does this age look like, and what am I grateful for?
SO much love and gratitude no matter what the ups and down ! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🥳🥳🥳
The best part?? We don’t have to have a birthday 🥳 to celebrate 🎉!! If breath is in my lungs… I can be grateful 😇🙌🏻🎂

Quality time is my love language.
Getting to be with my twin sista on this trip is something I’m beyond grateful for, and don’t take for granted.
There’s so many reasons why I do what I do, and creating experiences is one of those!
She’s one of my hero’s… , and always will be.

🤍took a leap of faith to new beginnings even when it didn’t make sense

Here’s to a new chapter for the Keeners, and we expect the rest of our life to be the best of our life!

Our dream has seemed too big at times.
It has seemed outside of us, bigger than us, sometimes unattainable, sometimes defeating….
Eight years ago, after 2 1/2 years of looking for land, and much prayer, God had put the perfect piece of majestic property in our lap! We knew it was a door that we had to walk through, and we did it in faith having no idea how our life would change in the short coming months.
Here we are eight years later, a little tired, but with smiles in our hearts, and praise on our lips, God has seen us through a BRUTIFUL season.
You see God put on my heart eight years ago when we acquired this land, that this would be a place we would gather people in God‘s name. We would host retreats, and this would be a used for His glory.
They say build it and they will come, and we, IN Faith, are doing just that! Our dream has come with a lot of doubt and fear, and it’s come with a lot of challenges, financially, change of career for my hubby, loss of one of my best friends, moms cancer diagnosis, countless business challenges, and here we are… It doesn’t change the fact that God is faithful.
If it’s from him He will make away, and rest in that today :-) :-) Yes, my obedience has been so important so God could use me. But, I also don’t believe if these last eight years would’ve happened the way they did, that I would be the leader willing to be used by Him that I am today. (I’m still a huge work in progress 🥰🥰)
Go out, face your fears and the unknown. Give the result to the Lord, know that all of the obstacles that are in front of you, are just a test of are you willing to grow through it…. For those of you that can identify with working for a dream, facing consistent obstacles, and knowing without a doubt, that God has placed this dream in your heart… Keep going! He will make a way!

I’m seeing a light again that seemed to have dimmed.
Goodness… so much I could share here. Basically no matter where you’re at in life, the enemy is real. He can make you doubt your purpose, steal your joy, and IF YOU LET HIM, destroy you.
I’m quicker to rebound than I used to be, but it doesn’t mean I don’t still battle him. In the past several months Gods sent random people to keep telling me the same thing… “keep doing what you’re doing, you’re making a huge difference.”
Me: “God why are you sending me this message over and over? I don’t doubt, I love what I do, I know this is my vehicle you’ve called me to…”
He knew y’all… He knew. He went before me to affirm me in a message HE KNEW I’d need to begin my 2022.
Yes the enemies real, and if we’re not careful we can start hearing his voice louder than HIS VOICE. But if we get quiet… God whispers . There’s no shouting, guilt, shame, or doubt where there’s God. I don’t know about you, but that’s the voice I CHOOSE to listen to.
Remember he knows when you’re making a kingdom difference, and those “fiery darts” are just an affirmation to keep focused on your ETERNAL PURPOSE!
