Spring Lake is a resurrected church community of the United Methodist Church (as of 3/31/13) that serves as a missional community in the heart of the town of Spring Lake, NC. The vision at Spring Lake emphasizes real relationships with real people, making disciples the way Jesus did, and giving expression to the diverse ways God calls the church to be with and among the poor and least. ake, community is lived outwardly, and not focused solely on those who worship in a building on Sunday. Jesus calls people to live faithfully within their respective cultures, neighborhoods, workplaces, and families, regardless of origin, and experience resurrection in tangible ways.
