🧑‍🚀 DAY 1 VBS 2025 RECAP 🧑‍🚀

Today was truly OUT OF THIS WORLD! We had a blast with all of our campers learning about Jesus and God’s Creation! We hope that you picked up the Parent Questions on your way out of the building so that you can continue the conversation at home or in the car. Tomorrow, we will be learning all about our space in God’s Creation! Rest up, cadets! Tomorrow’s mission is action packed and full of adventure!

✏️ New Christian Preschool on the South Hill 🍎

We’re heading up to for a website training for their team so they can update enrollment info and the school calendar in the months to come!

We love working with COLOR and playful elements. Schools deserve a professional website that still speaks to the experience kids will have day-to-day.

Our kids will be diving deep into Gods word. We will be seeking to teach them the core wonder truths of our WonderInk curriculum: God Knows them, Jesus Loves them, The Holy Spirit Leads Them, and They are a Child of God.

Think about a time you witnessed a young child see something amazing for the first time, like a rainbow, a massive tree, or a giraffe at the zoo. Think about the look on her face or the excitement in his voice. That is wonder—and wonder is where faith begins. It is a place of curiosity and imagination, a place where God meets us in our questions and our awe. Somewhere along the way, many of us allow responsibilities and pressures to drain the wonder out of this remarkable thing called life. Somewhere along the way, we stop seeing God’s extraordinary in our daily moments.

Yet, I believe we were never meant to outgrow wonder. So as you prepare to lead kids through this series, pause. Step back for a moment from responsibilities and pressures. Inhale … Exhale … Let the weight fall from your shoulders. Invite God to awaken wonder in you.

Now read Romans 8:14–17. What words or phrases evoke wonder? What is the Holy Spirit highlighting about your identity? Who does God say you are?

Write those words down on paper or in your phone. Read them throughout the week. Let God remind you that you are His child, coheir with Christ, daughter or son of the Most High.

Sit in wonder.

Then as you lead kids through the Be WonderFILLED series—as you guide them in understanding that they too are known by God, loved by Jesus, and led by the Holy Spirit—may the curiosity and awe they see in you encourage them to stop and wonder.

VBS // July 15th-17th // 9:00am-12:00pm at Summit South
3 years old (by March 31st/fully potty trained) through entering 2nd Grade

KIDS CAMP // July 22nd-24th // 9:00am-1:00pm OFF CAMPUS
Entering 3rd Grade through entering 5th Grade

Registration will open up in the beginning of June. More information coming soon!!
