Prayer by Cindy Haynes

Be diligent and watchful. Stay prayed up!.........................
Father we pray for peace and comfort for the president and his family as well as those in his administration and others who have remained loyal. Give them strength and wisdom as they go through the next week and any repercussions that occur later. Father we pray that those who have allowed their hearts to be so overcome with hatred for a man to be touched by Your Holy Spirit. Let them be brought to repentance so that their hearts can be at peace.
Give them wisdom and discernment to allow truth to be recognized.
We pray for safety and favor for those who have stood loyal to their beliefs. Allow them to not suffer harm physically, financially, emotionally or spiritually for their refusal to disavow their stands.
We ask that any and all demonstrations and protests planned for the time up to the inauguration, whether legitimate or otherwise,
be cancelled and those who would attempt to make these false scenarios a trap for others be stopped.
We bind up the attempts of the enemy to continue to divide our nation. We declare that he does cease and desist and that any plots and plans be exposed before they can be put into practice.
We thank You Father for giving all those You have called to pray the anointing to do so. We are open to hear from You Father, speak to us today.
In the name of Jesus we pray!

Take time to be holy, speak oft with thy Lord;
Abide in Him always, and feed on His Word.
Make friends of God's children, help those who are weak,
Forgetting in nothing His blessing to seek.
Take time to be holy, the world rushes on;
Spend much time in secret, with Jesus alone.
By looking to Jesus, like Him thou shalt be;
Thy friends in thy conduct His likeness shall see.
Take time to be holy, let Him be thy Guide;
And run not before Him, whatever betide.
In joy or in sorrow, still follow the Lord,
And, looking to Jesus, still trust in His Word.
Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul,
Each thought and each motive beneath His control.
Thus led by His Spirit to fountains of love,
Thou soon shalt be fitted for service above.

Persevering Prayer

Luke 18:1 NIV Jesus said “Men ought always to pray and not give up.” Jesus gave a parable that showed us that it is important To persevere in prayer to get the desired results. Be like a dog locked on to a bone that will not let go until you have what you have asked. The parable in Luke 18 is of a widow being very persistent as she asked a selfish, non-caring, unfair judge to rule in her favor against her adversary. Her persistence wearied the judge until he finally took care of the matter for her. In the Dake’s commentary, in the Greek it was like she blackened his eye and was relentless until he gave in! It took perseverance and not giving up! Jesus said how much more would GOD who is a righteous judge give to you what you ask Him. Mark 11:24 Jesus says that whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” So the Promise is that whatever we ask for and believe that we have it, it will manifest. Keith Moore says “Time tries trust”. We know that God will do what He says. He is faithful and His Word never returns void. We have it the moment we ask. When we ask in faith, the Word is set in motion. We believe we have received it so we can rejoice and thank God for it. However, sometimes there seems to be a delay in the manifestation. Just because we don’t see it yet or feel it yet doesn’t mean that we don’t have it. We are not to be moved by what we see. Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things NOT seen. Hebrews 11:1. The answer is on the way! The angels are hastening His Word to perform it. We can stay pressing in and persevering to the answer- the desired result. Abraham believed in the promise that he would have a son. 25 years later, when it was impossible in the natural for Sarah his wife to have a baby, she bore Isaac. Abraham considered that God was able to do what He said, and He did. Later, Abraham believed that God would raise Isaac from the dead if needed, when he was tested to sacrifice his own son. His faith is the same faith that is in us. He is the Father of Faith, and his Heavenly Father is the one who taught him how to use it. The Holy Spirit is our teacher now. He will teach us how to grow the faith that we have. Everyone has been given a seed of faith, but it is up to us to use it, and grow it. If we don’t use our faith, it will become weak and useless. We will not be effective in our prayers and will live a life of defeat. Without faith, it says in Hebrews 11, it is impossible to please God. But we are not of those that have no faith! Ask forgiveness if you have been lacking, and ask the Holy Spirit to help you. He will! Note that if no faith does not please God, that if we have faith it does please Him! God is pleased with faith! When you are in the middle of a prayer, from the moment you released your faith believing you received it until the manifestation, praise God, and stand on His Word! It shall come to pass! Be tenacious. Dare to believe that what you have prayed , will come to pass. You will see the manifestation! Having done all stand (Ephesians 6:10). If you don’t quit, you win! Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. The prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective!

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—”

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.”

By Marjorie Medsker: A Study on the Lords Prayer ( in progress.). Please look up the scriptures and allow your Heavenly Father to speak to you and through you. This will help your prayers to be powerful and effective!

“As we talk about kingdoms, God’s and Satans, it is important to understand some basics. Every Kingdom has a king, a culture and a desire to increase their kingdom.

Satan is the king of this world (2 Corinthians 4:4; John 10:10, 12:31-32)

Jesus is King of all heaven and earth (2 Samuel 7:12-13, 16; Luke 1:30-33; John18:36-37; Acts 17:7; Revelation 15:3).

The cultures and increasing of the two kingdoms:

In Satan’s, the world, anything goes. It’s do as you feel. Sin has no consequence. Satan will not tell you it leads to death. Give in to temptation for after a while you won’t notice if it’s right or wrong. Wrong becomes right and what is right becomes wrong. So then it becomes easy to satisfy the flesh and become self serving. He divides us against each other. This is how he increases his kingdom.

In Jesus, Heaven’s Kingdom, God’s word is our guide for right and wrong. His spirit in us sends up a red flag when something is wrong. Sin. Most know the differences from very young without being told. There is no blurred line when following Jesus. Jesus tells us of eternal life with Him. The more time we spend with Him the more we desire to serve Him and others. This is how His kingdom increases.

Praying for Thy Kingdom come - is praying the fulfillment of God’s will on earth, The rule of Jesus Christ on earth, The blessing and advantages that come from living under Christ’s rule in our own lives and demonstrating the Christian life to others so they may know Him as well. Satan does not like for us to pray this and will do everything he can to distract you or create chaos in your life.

For thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever - all creation is God’s, the whole universe and beyond what we as humans can comprehend. (1 chronicles 29:11; 1 Corinthians 6:14; Romans 1:20).”
