June belongs to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the image of God’s burning love for humanity.

His Heart is wounded, crowned with thorns, and aflame with mercy, reminding us that even in sin, suffering, rejection, and loneliness, we are not abandoned. Christ draws near to every wounded heart and offers the love we most deeply desire.

As the Church honors the Sacred Heart this month, and as the United States is consecrated to the Sacred Heart on June 11, may we pray for all who long to know they are loved.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.
